Lone Peak High School (LPHS) is a public high school in Highland, Utah, United States. Part of the Alpine School District, in northern Utah County, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills. Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year. However, it has since been given a 6A status. The school mascot is a knight.

American Fork Hospital is a hospital located in American Fork, Utah, United States, is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is a service of Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit health care system serving the Intermountain West. Hospital services include a 27-suite women's center that features single-room birthing and a 17-bed emergency department.In 2021, American Fork Hospital opened a newborn intensive care unit. The facility has 20 individual rooms and can help babies born as early as 32 weeks after conception. 2,500 to 3,000 babies per year are born at American Fork Hospital.

American Fork High School is a public high school in American Fork, Utah, United States. Its mascot is the Caveman, chosen as a tribute to Timpanogos Cave. The school is perhaps best known for its award-winning marching band and cross country teams. The boys cross country team has consistently dominated in Utah and throughout the nation since their first state championship in 2009. American Fork High school is one of the oldest high schools in Utah. In 2017 they became one of the first schools to participate in the 6A division.

Henry & Elizabeth Parker Chipman House on E. 300 N. in American Fork, Utah was built in 1897. It has also been known as the James E. & Eliza C. Peters House. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. The listing included two contributing buildings.It includes Tudor Revival, Late Victorian, and English Cottage architecture.The Delbert and Ora Chipman House, also in American Fork, is also NRHP-listed.

American Fork Canyon is a canyon in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, United States. The canyon is famous for the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, which resides on its south side. It is named after the American Fork River, which runs through the bottom of the canyon. The area is accessed by State Route 92, through what is officially called the "Alpine Loop Scenic Byway." Visitors entering American Fork Canyon from the west can follow SR-92 up the canyon to the summit of the Alpine Loop, down the east side of Mount Timpanogos, past Sundance Ski Resort and then out into Provo Canyon to the south. Spurs off SR-92 take visitors to Tibble Fork Reservoir and Cascade Springs. A well-maintained gravel road continues east from Cascade Springs to Midway. This area is home to many hiking, biking, and equestrian trails with several established campgrounds. Tibble Fork Reservoir and Silver Lake Flats Reservoir are popular camping and fishing spots in the summer as well as offering excellent snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and backcountry skiing during the winter months.

The Charles T. H. Goode House at 1215 E. Main St. in American Fork, Utah was built in 1897 as a residential home. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. It is noted for its usage of soft-rock as its primary building material. It is currently serving as an animal shelter. Charles T.H. Goodehouse was the home of Charles T. H. Goode, born 1847 in Wappenbury in Warwickshire, England before moving to the United States at the age of 21 after his conversion to mormonism. It remained relatively unchanged from its original 1897 state until 1940 before the interior was slightly altered and a porch was added.

Highland is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is approximately 30 miles (48 km) south of Salt Lake City and is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the 2010 census the population was 15,523, a 90.0% increase over the 2000 figure of 8,172.

Petersen Arboretum is an arboretum located in Petersen Park, Alpine, Utah, United States. It was established prior to 2003, when 150 additional trees were planted. Its collection has about 50 types of trees, including Big Tooth and Amur Maples, Tri-colored Oaks, and the Dawn Redwoods. The arboretum is located at Ridge Drive and 100 East.

The Neils Peter Larsen House, at 1146 N. One Hundred E. Pleasant Grove, Utah, was built in 1870. It is a soft rock house built to replace use of a dugout. Neils Peter Larsen had homesteaded a farm in 1862. The dugout and house served one of Larsen's three polygamous wives and a family; the other two wives and one family lived about a mile away.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
