Piz Dora

Piz Daint (Romansh: [pits ˈdajnt]) is a mountain of the Swiss Ortler Alps, overlooking the Ofen Pass in the canton of Graubünden. The closest locality is Tschierv on the north side.

Tschierv is a village in the Val Müstair municipality in the district of Inn in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. In 2009 Tschierv merged with Fuldera, Lü, Müstair, Santa Maria Val Müstair and Valchava to form the municipality of Val Müstair.

Fuorn Pass or Ofen Pass (Romansh: Pass dal Fuorn, German: Ofenpass, Italian: Passo del Forno) (el. 2149 m.) is a high alpine mountain pass in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. The name is based on the ovens that were used in ironworks in the area. The ruins of these ovens can still be seen from nearby trails. It connects Zernez in the Engadin valley with Val Müstair, crossing the Swiss National Park in Switzerland. It was here that a brown bear (Ursus arctos) was seen and photographed in July 2005 - the first sighting of a wild bear in Switzerland since 1923In 2004, the biggest Honey fungus spotted in Europe was found near the Pass. The fungus is about 1,000 years old and its diameter is estimated at 500 to 800 meters.

Piz Murtaröl (also known as Cima la Casina) is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, located on the border between Italy and Switzerland. With a height of 3,180 metres above sea level, it is the highest mountain in Val Mora. On its southern side it overlooks Passo di Fraéle.

Piz Tea Fondada (also known as Monte Cornaccia) is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, located on the border between Italy and Switzerland. On its southern Italian side it overlooks the Lago di Cancano. On its northern Swiss side it overlooks the Val da Tea Fondada, part of the Val Mora.

Alpine Astrovillage (AAV) is a center for astrophotography and stargazing in the eastern Swiss Alps, high above the valley floor of the Val Müstair in the canton Graubünden. It was founded by Drs. Vaclav & Jitka Ourednik during the International Year of Astronomy 2009. The complete name is Alpine Astrovillage Lü-Stailas (for “star light” in the Romansh language of the Canton). With its geographic location at an altitude above 1,900 metres (6,200 ft) and an exquisite sky quality with minimal light pollution, AAV is a unique place in Central Europe for all astronomical purposes. The program includes multi-day courses in astrophotography and sky observation. In collaboration with schools, AAV offers students the possibility to accomplish, under competent guidance, the practical parts of their matura (or Bachelor) or Masters projects. AAV also organizes and supervises astrophotography trips to the darkest places on Earth, including visits to the most famous and biggest professional observatories. Meanwhile, the Center enjoys, thanks to its educative activities, great national and international popularity and respect. For years, it has been known as an Erlebnisperle des Kantons Graubünden (Destination Pearl of the canton Graubünden). With its activity, the Center contributes in an important way to the preservation of the last dark sky oases on the planet for the coming generations.

Monte Forcola (2,906 m) is a peak in Graubünden, Switzerland, close to the Italian border. Approximately 200 metres south of the summit (at the Italian border) is located the triple watershed of the Adige, Po and Danube basins (2,896 m).

The Cima del Serraglio is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, located on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It lies between the lake of Livigno (Lombardy) and the Val Mora (Graubünden).
