Munt la Schera

The Munt la Schera Tunnel is a single lane road tunnel located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It connects the Engadin valley with Lago di Livigno, through Munt la Schera. Completed in 1965, the tunnel is 3,394 metres (11,135 ft) in length. The tunnel was built to transport building materials for the construction of the Punt dal Gall dam. It was opened for public use in 1968, but is still owned and operated by the hydroelectric power company Engadiner Kraftwerke AG. The tunnel is only wide enough for a single vehicle so traffic moves in alternate directions, controlled by traffic lights which change every 15 minutes. (A different pattern of alternating traffic applies on Saturdays in winter.) The tunnel is open 24 hours a day to motor vehicles no more than 3.6 metres (12 ft) in height and 2.5 metres (8 ft 2 in) in width but since 2008 it is closed to cyclists. From June to September, cyclists may take their cycles on a half-hourly shuttle bus, and at other times they may use a limited number of places on the public bus service. As of May 2015, the standard daytime toll for a single car journey through the tunnel is CHF16/EUR15. Slightly higher tolls are charged at night.

Punt dal Gall is an arch dam located in Livigno valley, 10.5 km northeast of the Italian town of Livigno. It lies at the border between the Italian region of Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Grisons. As of June 2008, the dam's crown holds a toll that takes payment for crossing the Munt La Schera Tunnel, which connects Livigno and the Engadin valley.

Lago di Livigno or Lago del Gallo is a reservoir in the Livigno valley. The reservoir is mostly in Italy whereas the Punt dal Gall arch dam is crossed by the border with Switzerland (Zernez, Grisons). The reservoir's surface area is 4.71 km². The reservoir has a capacity of 164 million m³. Its minimum and maximum water levels above sea level are at 1,700 metres and 1,805 metres respectively. Since its construction, this reservoir had been off-limits for any activity, such as wind-surfing or rowing, until the summer of 2005, when Italy's National Rowing team was authorized to train on the lake.

Munt Buffalora (2,630 m) is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, located south of the Ofen Pass in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

The Cima del Serraglio is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, located on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It lies between the lake of Livigno (Lombardy) and the Val Mora (Graubünden).

Fuorn Pass or Ofen Pass (Romansh: Pass dal Fuorn, German: Ofenpass, Italian: Passo del Forno) (el. 2149 m.) is a high alpine mountain pass in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. The name is based on the ovens that were used in ironworks in the area. The ruins of these ovens can still be seen from nearby trails. It connects Zernez in the Engadin valley with Val Müstair, crossing the Swiss National Park in Switzerland. It was here that a brown bear (Ursus arctos) was seen and photographed in July 2005 - the first sighting of a wild bear in Switzerland since 1923In 2004, the biggest Honey fungus spotted in Europe was found near the Pass. The fungus is about 1,000 years old and its diameter is estimated at 500 to 800 meters.

Piz Daint (Romansh: [pits ˈdajnt]) is a mountain of the Swiss Ortler Alps, overlooking the Ofen Pass in the canton of Graubünden. The closest locality is Tschierv on the north side.

Piz Dora (2,951 m) is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, overlooking Tschierv in the canton of Graubünden. It lies south of Piz Daint, on the range between the Val Mora and the Val Müstair.

Piz Murtaröl (also known as Cima la Casina) is a mountain of the Ortler Alps, located on the border between Italy and Switzerland. With a height of 3,180 metres above sea level, it is the highest mountain in Val Mora. On its southern side it overlooks Passo di Fraéle.

Trepalle is a village (the highest in Italy) in the Italian Alps, a frazione of Livigno, Lombardy. It is sometimes considered to be the village located at the highest altitude in Europe with its church located at an altitude of 2,069 m, and the village stretching up to the Passo d'Eira at 2,209 m. However, Kurush in southern Dagestan in Russia is situated much higher at 2480–2560 m in the northern Caucasus Mountains. Trepalle is located above Livigno between the Foscagno Pass and the Eira Pass. The northern part of the village, by the Eira Pass, is one of the main skiing areas of Livigno. As part of the comune of Livigno, it is also a duty-free area. The name of this village means "three balls" in Italian, mistranslated from Trevalle, which means "three valleys". In fact, Trepalle is reachable from three different valleys: Val Trela, Val di Foscagno and Vallaccia. The village's former priest Don Alessandro Parenti inspired Italian writer Giovannino Guareschi for the character of Don Camillo.

Bacino di San Giacomo is a reservoir in the Province of Sondrio, Lombardy, Italy.

Tschierv is a village in the Val Müstair municipality in the district of Inn in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. In 2009 Tschierv merged with Fuldera, Lü, Müstair, Santa Maria Val Müstair and Valchava to form the municipality of Val Müstair.
