It was founded in 1997 by the Armenian Assembly of America to bring more awareness to the Armenian genocide. The abbreviation of the Institute, ANI, is the name of the medieval capital of Armenia. ANI supports the publication of academic works and informational materials to promote better awareness of genocide.

The Church of the Epiphany, built in 1844, is an historic Episcopal church located at 1317 G Street, N.W., in Washington, D.C. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 10, 1971. The parish had been organized in 1842, and the new building consecrated in 1852. During the next five years, a tower, transepts and chancel were added. In 1858, the congregation established the Epiphany Church home to help the poor and sick. The American Civil War split the congregation. As Senator, Jefferson Davis had rented pew no. 14, and three of his children were confirmed at the church. After secession, when Davis moved to Richmond, Virginia and became the Confederacy's president, that pew was rented by Secretary of War Edwin Stanton. On March 6, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln attended the funeral of General Frederick Lander at this church, which also served as a hospital between May and December of that year.

The Bond Building is an historic office building located at 1404 New York Avenue, N.W., in downtown Washington, D.C. It was designed by architect George S. Cooper in 1901. The building was constructed by Charles Henry Bond, for an estimated $300,000. A developer bought the building in 1979, and applied for a demolition permit. D.C. Superior Court Judge William E. Stewart, Jr., blocked demolition in 1980. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Brownley Confectionery Building is an historic structure located in Downtown Washington, D.C. The architectural firm of Porter & Lockie designed the building, which is one of the last Art Deco commercial buildings in the downtown area. The limestone façade features aluminum spandrel panels. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

1310 G Street is a high-rise skyscraper building located in Washington, D.C., United States. Its construction was completed in 1992. With its completion, the building rose to 154 feet (47 m), and featured 12 floors with 59,652 m2 in total floor area. The architect of the building was Skidmore, Owings & Merrill who designed the postmodern architectural style of the building. The high-rise serves as an office building.1310 G Street is located in the East End neighborhood of Washington, DC.
