Gatorland is a 110-acre (45 ha) theme park and wildlife preserve in Florida, located along South Orange Blossom Trail south of Orlando. It was founded in 1949 by Owen Godwin on former cattle land, and is privately owned by his family. Billed as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland features thousands of alligators (including rare leucistic alligators) and crocodiles, and many other animals. Attractions in the park include a breeding marsh with a boardwalk and observation tower, zip lines, an off-road swamp vehicle tour, a ridable miniature railroad, alligator feeding shows, alligator wrestling shows, an aviary, a petting zoo, and educational programs. The breeding marsh area of the park was used in the filming of the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.The park is known for buying and rescuing nuisance alligators from trappers that would otherwise be killed for their meat and skin. Gatorland also manages the live alligator display at the Gaylord Palms resort in Kissimmee.

Hunter's Creek is a master planned, unincorporated community and census-designated place in Orange County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 14,321 at the 2010 census. It has grown up around a large planned community named Hunter's Creek, though the CDP name given by the United States Census Bureau lacks the apostrophe.

Lake Calabay is a manmade dredged freshwater lake in the residential community of Hunter's Creek, Florida, just inside the south border of Orange County, Florida. This lake was a somewhat swampy area prior to its construction about 1993. It was built as a feature for the Hunter's Creek development. Three different gated neighborhoods were built around Lake Calabay. To the east and north is Calabay Cove, with 104 homes constructed from 1993 to 1998. On the west is Montara, with twenty-four homes built between 1994 and 1996. On the south is Ashton, with thirty-four homes built between 1996 and 1997.Lake Calabay is of irregular shape, constructed that way so as many homes as possible could border the lake. In three places on the south and west the lake borders Hunter's Creek Boulevard. This roadway serves as a form of dam separating Lake Calabay from two bodies of water on the south and west sides of the lake.There are no swimming areas or boat ramps on Lake Calabay, public or private, and no swimming or boating is allowed. This is a private lake, although the public could reach the shores at three points along Hunter's Creek Boulevard. Also, Calabay Park is located on the east side of the Ashton neighborhood. It borders the lake, but is meant for the use of Hunter's Creek residents and not the general public.

The Loop in Kissimmee, Florida is an outdoor mall located at the corner of John Young Parkway and Osceola Parkway. It is split into two sections: Loop West and Loop East. Shops and attractions include a Regal Entertainment Group movie theater, Kohl's, JCPenney, Books A Million, Michael's, Nike Clearance Store, several speciality stores, and restaurants.

The Osceola County School for the Arts (OCSA) is a public magnet arts school located in Kissimmee, Florida. Students can major in one of the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Drama, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music/Band, Creative Writing, Dance, Orchestra, or Technical Theater. Middle school students (grades sixth, seventh, and eighth) may major in any discipline except Technical Theater. OCSA enrolls students in grades 6–12 and is part of the School District of Osceola County. The school serves Osceola County, and enrolled 936 students as of the 2018–2019 school year.

Tupperware station is a train station in the community of Hunter's Creek, Florida. It is located along the southern phase of SunRail, the commuter rail service of Greater Orlando, and opened for revenue service on July 30, 2018. The station is named after the nearby Tupperware Brands Corporation headquarters campus.

Knife & Spoon is a Michelin-starred steakhouse by chef John Tesar in Orlando, Florida. The restaurant serves American cuisine from the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes.

Cypress Creek High School is located in Orlando, Florida, and serves students in grades 9 through 12. Cypress Creek is an IB World School with an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. As an IB World School, CCHS is a local magnet school allowing students from other Orange County, Florida schools to attend.Cypress Creek High School receives graduating students from Meadow Woods Middle School, South Creek Middle School and Walker Middle School. However, it is a magnet school, so students from surrounding middle schools (e.g. Hunters Creek Middle School, Freedom Middle School, Westridge Middle School, Lake Nona Middle School, Southwest Middle School) also attend Cypress Creek albeit in smaller numbers.

The Father/Son Challenge, titled since 2020 as the PNC Championship under a sponsorship agreement with PNC Financial Services, is an annual golf tournament for two-player teams, consisting of PGA Tour and Champions Tour golfers and (usually) their sons. It is played over two days (36 holes) for the Willie Park Trophy, in memory of the father and son British Open champions Willie Park Sr. and Willie Park Jr. The field of twenty teams plays a scramble format. In 2012, the prize fund was $1,000,000; the tournament is jointly owned by IMG and NBC Sports. The qualifying player must have won a major championship or The Players Championship (often touted as the "fifth major") to be eligible for an invitation. The guest team members range from middle school age up to senior citizens, and sometimes include a few with tour golf careers of their own but cannot be a touring professional at the time of the tournament. Southchase is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 15,921 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
