Lake Calabay is a manmade dredged freshwater lake in the residential community of Hunter's Creek, Florida, just inside the south border of Orange County, Florida. This lake was a somewhat swampy area prior to its construction about 1993. It was built as a feature for the Hunter's Creek development. Three different gated neighborhoods were built around Lake Calabay. To the east and north is Calabay Cove, with 104 homes constructed from 1993 to 1998. On the west is Montara, with twenty-four homes built between 1994 and 1996. On the south is Ashton, with thirty-four homes built between 1996 and 1997.Lake Calabay is of irregular shape, constructed that way so as many homes as possible could border the lake. In three places on the south and west the lake borders Hunter's Creek Boulevard. This roadway serves as a form of dam separating Lake Calabay from two bodies of water on the south and west sides of the lake.There are no swimming areas or boat ramps on Lake Calabay, public or private, and no swimming or boating is allowed. This is a private lake, although the public could reach the shores at three points along Hunter's Creek Boulevard. Also, Calabay Park is located on the east side of the Ashton neighborhood. It borders the lake, but is meant for the use of Hunter's Creek residents and not the general public.

The Loop in Kissimmee, Florida is an outdoor mall located at the corner of John Young Parkway and Osceola Parkway. It is split into two sections: Loop West and Loop East. Shops and attractions include a Regal Entertainment Group movie theater, Kohl's, JCPenney, Books A Million, Michael's, Nike Clearance Store, several speciality stores, and restaurants.

Mallard Lake is a manmade freshwater lake in the unincorporated community of Hunter's Creek, in south Orange County, Florida. Originally part the area of the lake and part of the area surrounding the lake was swamp land. The rest was dry land, according to topographical maps. The lake was built in or before the early 1990s to serve two Hunter's Creek communities developed in the 1990s. One is Mallard Cove, on the west and southwest sides of the lake, in which 182 homes were built from 1992 to 1996. The other community is Falcon Pointe, to the northeast, east and southeast sides of Mallard Lake. From 1991 to 1996, 165 homes were built in Falcon Pointe.Another manmade lake is in the area, Lake Talova. It is just to the north of Mallard Lake. Talova Drive is on the strip of land separating the two lakes. A cove on Mallard Lake's south side borders Town Center Boulevard, the area's major thoroughfare. The Hunter's Creek website says the public cannot fish in these lakes or use boats on them. However, Hunter's Creek residents may do so. Neither lake has a boat ramp, so only small boats can be launched.

Gatorland is a 110-acre (45 ha) theme park and wildlife preserve in Florida, located along South Orange Blossom Trail south of Orlando. It was founded in 1949 by Owen Godwin on former cattle land, and is privately owned by his family. Billed as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland features thousands of alligators (including rare leucistic alligators) and crocodiles, and many other animals. Attractions in the park include a breeding marsh with a boardwalk and observation tower, zip lines, an off-road swamp vehicle tour, a ridable miniature railroad, alligator feeding shows, alligator wrestling shows, an aviary, a petting zoo, and educational programs. The breeding marsh area of the park was used in the filming of the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.The park is known for buying and rescuing nuisance alligators from trappers that would otherwise be killed for their meat and skin. Gatorland also manages the live alligator display at the Gaylord Palms resort in Kissimmee.

The Osceola County School for the Arts (OCSA) is a public magnet arts school located in Kissimmee, Florida. Students can major in one of the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Drama, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music/Band, Creative Writing, Dance, Orchestra, or Technical Theater. Middle school students (grades sixth, seventh, and eighth) may major in any discipline except Technical Theater. OCSA enrolls students in grades 6–12 and is part of the School District of Osceola County. The school serves Osceola County, and enrolled 936 students as of the 2018–2019 school year.

Tupperware station is a train station in the community of Hunter's Creek, Florida. It is located along the southern phase of SunRail, the commuter rail service of Greater Orlando, and opened for revenue service on July 30, 2018. The station is named after the nearby Tupperware Brands Corporation headquarters campus.

The Father/Son Challenge, titled since 2020 as the PNC Championship under a sponsorship agreement with PNC Financial Services, is an annual golf tournament for two-player teams, consisting of PGA Tour and Champions Tour golfers and (usually) their sons. It is played over two days (36 holes) for the Willie Park Trophy, in memory of the father and son British Open champions Willie Park Sr. and Willie Park Jr. The field of twenty teams plays a scramble format. In 2012, the prize fund was $1,000,000; the tournament is jointly owned by IMG and NBC Sports. The qualifying player must have won a major championship or The Players Championship (often touted as the "fifth major") to be eligible for an invitation. The guest team members range from middle school age up to senior citizens, and sometimes include a few with tour golf careers of their own but cannot be a touring professional at the time of the tournament. The Colonial Estate (also known as the Tucker/Ivey House) is a historic site in Kissimmee, Florida. It is located at 2450 Old Dixie Highway. On January 3, 1994, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This home was built c. 1916 by J. Wade Tucker, a lumber baron from Georgia. It was later purchased in the 1930s by Hilda and Lester Ivey and is still owned today by this family.

Wat Florida Dhammaram (Thai: วัดฟลอริดาธรรมมาราม) is a Buddhist monastery in Kissimmee, Florida, established by Lung-po Chaokhun Phra Tepvaraporn (Im Arindhamo) in the mid-1990s.
