The Palazzo Diomede Carafa, also known as Palazzo Santangelo, or Santagelo Carafa, is a monumental Renaissance palace on Via San Biagio dei Librai #119–121 in central Naples, region of Campania, Italy. Across the street from the facade is the church of San Nicola a Nilo; on the Eastern flank, across a vicolo of the same name, is the church of Santi Filippo e Giacomo.

San Nicola a Nilo is a Baroque-style Roman Catholic church on Via San Biagio dei Librai #10, in the center of Naples, province of Campania, Italy. It stands across from the Palazzo Diomede Carafa.

The Palazzo del Panormita is a Renaissance style palace in central Naples. It rises alongside the narrow via Nilo, near via Spaccanapoli, where it is called San Biagio dei Librai, diagonally from Santa Maria Assunta dei Pignatelli, adjacent to the Piazza del Nilo with the Nile God statue. It is south of Palazzo d’Afflitto and the Palazzo Spinelli di Laurino. The palace was initially commissioned prior to 1450 by Antonio Beccadelli, (1394–1471), called Il Panormita (poetic form meaning "The Palermitan"), who was a prominent Italian poet, canon lawyer, scholar, diplomat, and chronicler. It has since gone through many owners, including Giacomo Capece Galeota, a regent in the Tribunal of the Vicariate. The initial architect was Giovanni Fillippo De Adinolfo, followed by Giovanni Francesco Mormando and Giovanni Francesco Di Palma who completed the work in the 16th century. The base of the structure has rough piperno rock. The piano nobile has the largest windows, while the third floor has arched windows. In the 1700s, a fourth story was added.

The Statue of the Nile God (Italian: Statua del dio Nilo) is an Ancient Roman, likely Hellenistic, marble statue dating from the 2nd to 3rd century AD. It is located at Piazzetta Nilo, at the start of via Nilo, in the quarter of the same name, and it is this statue that gives all their name. The church of Santa Maria Assunta dei Pignatelli faces the statue, and the Palazzo Panormita is on the north flank. Two blocks east, along Via Benedetto Croce (part of the Decumano Inferiore commonly called Spaccanapoli) rises the church of San Domenico.

Santa Maria Assunta dei Pignatelli is a deconsecrated Roman Catholic church located at the end of Via Nilo (where it intersects Piazzeta Nilo, and runs into via Giovanni Paladino) in Naples, region of Campania, Italy. In the small piazza in front of the church is an ancient Roman statue of the Nile God.

Santa Maria Donnaromita is a former church located on via Paladino in Naples. A church at the site was first founded by nuns putatively fleeing in 1025 from iconoclasm in Constantinople, and thus initially gave the monastery the title: Monasterium Monialum Santa Mariae de Percejo de Constantinopoli ordini Cisterciensium regulae San Bernardi. In time this became the church of Santa Mariae dominarum de Romania de Neapolitanum ordinis Cisterciensis.By 14th century a church on the present plan was built, and refurbished in the 16th century by Giovanni Francesco di Palma along with construction of the convent and cloisters by Giovanni Vincenzo Della Monica. Further reconstructions in the 16th and 17th centuries gave the complex its Baroque imprint. In the 19th century, the church was suppressed and became an engineering school. It was damaged during the Second World War. The interior ceiling (1587-1590) was decorated by Giovanni Andrea Magliuolo and painted by Teodoro d'Errico; on the counterfacade is an Epiphany (1728), while the cupola was frescoed by Luca Giordano. In the apse are the remains of the main altar sculpted by the brothers Bartolomeo and Pietro Ghetti; The pavement was designed by Donato Massa. In the chapel, Duke Theodore's remains are housed in a reused ancient Roman sarcophagus.

The deconsecrated church of San Gennaro all’Olmo is a former religious edifice located in the city center of Naples, Italy, on Via San Gregorio Armeno. It is adjacent and for many years integral to the chapel-church of San Biagio Maggiore.
