The site (including The Tuffs & The Nedge) is listed in the 'Forest of Dean Local Plan Review' as a Key Wildlife Site (KWS).Wye Valley Woodlands/ Coetiroedd Dyffryn Gwy are recognised as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) under the EU Habitats Directive.
