Sutton Scotney is a village in Hampshire, England, north of Winchester in the civil parish of Wonston. It lies alongside the River Dever and is now bypassed by the A34 trunk road. It is notable for having been the site of numerous Spitfire crashes in the Second World War. It has a population of more than 200, and had a watercress-based economy. Its best-known resident was J. Arthur Rank who took the name of the village as part of his title when he was ennobled. The village pub, the Coach & Horses, dates back to 1762. The pub was recently refurbished and converted the former thatched village Fire station into bed and breakfast rooms. The village is home to Naomi House & Jacksplace, hospices that care for life-limited children and young people from across the Wessex region.

Sutton Scotney railway station is a disused station which served the village of Sutton Scotney a few miles north of Winchester on the Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Railway.

Bullington is a civil parish in the Test Valley district of Hampshire, England. The parish contains Upper Bullington and Lower Bullington, both about 9 miles (14 km) south-east of Andover. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 101.

Barton Stacey is a village and undulating civil parish, which includes the hamlets of Bransbury, Newton Stacey, Drayton and Cocum, in the Test Valley district of Hampshire, England, centred about 7 miles (11 km) south-east of Andover. It is bounded to the north by the estate of Drayton Lodge (north of the A303 trunk road), and, to the south, by the minor A30 road; both being east–west routes, and connected by The Street/Cocum Road, the main road that bisects the village. The distance between the A303 and A30 at this point is 2 miles (3.2 km), which is twice the width of the parish. The area is well-connected by roads. Bullington, to the east has the A34 road, joining Southampton and the south-central coast from near the close of the M3 to Oxford and The Midlands. Barton Stacey parish has the westernmost end of the A272 road, which runs from the A30, through nearby Winchester and on to Cross In Hand, East Sussex. At Newton Stacey and Bransbury Common in the west the parish adjoins the braided River Test; its tributary the Dever runs through the north of the parish; both are noted for their trout fisheries.

Barton Stacey railway station was a small single platform halt serving an army camp near the village of Barton Stacey. It was opened by February 1940; there was a regular workers' train from Southampton by that date. Little else is known, primarily because of its military association; and its whole life was during wartime — it closed in December 1940

Tidbury Ring is the site of an Iron Age univallate hillfort located in Hampshire. The earthworks have been heavily destroyed by ploughing, but some sections to the south remain in better condition. The entrance lies to the southeast of the fort. The interior is for the most part farmland with the earthworks now covered by small trees and undergrowth Two Roman buildings, possibly a courtyard villa complex were found within the hill-fort. The site is now listed as a scheduled ancient monument no.87

Hunton is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Wonston, in the Winchester district, in the county of Hampshire, England. It is about 6 miles (10 km) miles from the city of Winchester. In 1931 the parish had a population of 94. Hunton has a church called St James' Church which is grade II listed.

South Wonston is a village on the outskirts of the City of Winchester district of Hampshire, England. The population of the parish of South Wonston was estimated in 2017 to be 2,870.

Stoke Charity is a small village on the River Dever that lies within the Wonston (where the 2011 Census was included) civil parish in the City of Winchester district of Hampshire, England. Its nearest town is Winchester, which lies approximately 6.1 miles (9.9 km) south-west from the village. In past centuries, the manor was also known as Old Stoke, still remembered in the street name "Old Stoke Road".

Bransbury is a hamlet in Hampshire, England, part of the parish of Barton Stacey. The nearest village is Barton Stacey (where the 2011 census was included), halfway between Winchester and Andover; there is a junction for Bransbury on the A303 towards Exeter. Bransbury has twenty-two dwellings: a collection of agricultural workers’ cottages with gardens of generous proportions, Bransbury Manor, which dates from the 18th century, and Bransbury Mill, a Grade II listed building. The Crook and Shears Inn public house was converted into a dwelling in the late 20th century. The hamlet straddles the River Dever. The road from Barton Stacey to Bransbury is prone to pooling water, because of its position on the flood plain.

Norsebury Ring is the site of an Iron Age univallate hillfort located in Hampshire. Now mostly ploughed out to the South and east, some ditches and ramparts remain within a small copsed area to the North and west, which are surprisingly intact with a small outer ditch, then a bank, then another larger ditch followed by larger bank. However the trees and undergrowth hide the earthworks from immediate view. A magnetometry survey in 1997 revealed two entrances (at the southeast and southwest) and found evidence to suggest that the site had a thriving Iron Age settlement. Bronze Age and Roman pottery has also been found at the site. Originally, from one of the two entrances, a ditched avenue led to a large sub-circular enclosure some 30M. across in the centre of the fort. The enclosure may have contained a timber shrine as is thought to have existed at Danebury.The name Norsebury has apparently nothing to do with the "Norsemen", but the site was called originally "Naesan Byrg" which translates as "Fort at the ness", this later became "nose", and later still, "norse".The site is a scheduled ancient monument, No.131.Just to the East at grid reference SU497391 lies the site of the 'Weston Colley Group' of 13 round barrows. The 'Hampshire Treasures' resource says they have been extensively ploughed out and are now crop marks only.
