The Lester and Hazel Murphy House is a historic house located in Hood River, Oregon, United States.

The city of Hood River is the seat of Hood River County, Oregon, United States. It is a port on the Columbia River, and is named for the nearby Hood River. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 7,167. It is the only city in Oregon where public consumption of alcohol on sidewalks or parks is totally unrestricted.

The I.O.O.F. – Paris Fair Building in Hood River, Oregon was built in 1906, with Early Commercial architecture. Also known as Idlewild Lodge No. 107, Odd Fellow's Hall, and Paris Fair Department Store, it served historically as a department store and as an International Order of Odd Fellows meeting hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.Its third floor was originally the lodge hall.

The Hood River County School District (HRCSD) is a public school district in Hood River County, Oregon, United States that serves the communities of Cascade Locks, Hood River, Odell, Pine Grove, and Parkdale. District headquarters are at 1011 Eugene Street in Hood River. Rich Polkinghorn is the superintendent. Seven people serve on the school board.

The Simpson Copple House is a historic residence in Hood River, Oregon, United States. Built in 1906 on a rise overlooking the Columbia River, it is one of the best preserved examples of the vernacular, late Queen Anne architectural style in Hood River. Its size, state of preservation, and fine detail work on its gables especially stand out from similar houses in the area. Simpson Copple (1842–1933) was a Civil War veteran and pioneer orchardist who was important in the growth of the apple industry in the Hood River Valley. He purchased the house shortly after its construction and lived there until his death.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Full Sail Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Hood River, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1987, Full Sail was the first commercially successful craft brewery to bottle beer in the Pacific Northwest for retail sale, and one of Oregon's early microbreweries. The first beer packaged was Full Sail Golden Ale, followed in 1988 by Full Sail Imperial Porter, Full Sail Amber Ale, and Wassail Winter Ale.

The Hood River County Library and Georgiana Smith Park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.It was a community effort to get the library built, with a woman's club leading, and eventually securing a $17,500 Carnegie grant. The library was built in 1913–14. The Georgiana Smith Park was completed in 1935.
