Exposition Park (or Expo Park) is a neighborhood in south Dallas, Texas (USA). Centered along tree-lined Exposition Avenue, the small enclave stretches from the eastern edge of Deep Ellum to the entrance of Fair Park. The area includes Exposition Plaza, a one acre special use park established in 1984 that features an amphitheater and sculpture areas. Exposition Park is home to several eclectic bars and restaurants, with small businesses and entertainment venues dotting the street-level storefronts. The neighborhood is also widely known as a budding arts district, attracting many artists and creatives who live and work in the area. Several art galleries, artist and photography studios, and creative offices are located within its borders. The Gibson Company, a major property owner in the area, has preserved many of the historic buildings and lofts across the neighborhood.

Fair Park station is a DART Light Rail station located in Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. It serves the Green Line. The station opened on September 14, 2009 as one of four original stops on the line. Fair Park contains the largest collection of Art Deco exhibition buildings in the world, built for the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition. The station was designed to blend into the surrounding architecture while revitalizing the historic entrance into Fair Park. During important events during the State Fair of Texas, Fair Park station is served by "special event" trains from the Red Line and Blue Line.

Gaston Park was a baseball park located in Dallas, Texas. Named for landowner William H. Gaston, the ballpark existed within the State Fair grounds in the vicinity of Texas and Pacific rail tracks as well as the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas. The field was also used for the Red River Rivalry in 1912 and 1914. Oklahoma beat Texas 21–6 in 1912 while the Longhorns beat the Sooners 32–7 in 1914. The A&M College of Texas, as it was then known, beat Baylor University there on Thanksgiving Day 1912 by score of 53–0. Early newspaper reports of Texas League baseball games were stated as "at the fair grounds".

Fair Park is a recreational and educational complex in Dallas, Texas, United States, located immediately east of downtown. The 277-acre (112 ha) area is registered as a Dallas Landmark and National Historic Landmark; many of the buildings were constructed for the Texas Centennial Exposition in 1936. Fair Park has been designated a Great Place in America by the American Planning Association.

The Women's Museum: An Institute for the Future was a museum located inside Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. On October 5, 2011, the museum announced it would close on October 31, 2011, due to lack of funds.

The Undermain Theatre is an 80-seat regional theater, home to the professional theater company, Deep Ellum Theatre Group. It is located in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas. Deriving its name from the actual location of the basement space "under Main Street", this ensemble group of theatre artists performs new and experimental works throughout Dallas, New York City and Europe and has become known for producing many contemporary writers.

The Music Hall at Fair Park (originally the Fair Park Auditorium or State Fair Auditorium) is a performing arts theater in Dallas, Texas's Fair Park that opened in 1925. The building is of Spanish Baroque style with Moorish architectural influences, containing six stair towers capped with cast domes and arcade porches overlooking Fair Park. Air conditioning was added in 1954, and in 1972 the Hall was remodeled again with an expanded lobby and restaurant. In 1999 the theater was refurbished and updated. Because of the spacious nature of the Music Hall, the facility is a nationally recognized venue for Broadway musical touring companies and other large-scale public and private functions. The Music Hall is currently home to the Dallas Summer Musicals and was home to the Dallas Opera from 1957 to 2009.

Big Tex is a 55-foot (17 m) tall figure and marketing icon of the annual State Fair of Texas held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The figure has become a cultural icon of Dallas and Texas. Since 1952 Big Tex has served as a cultural ambassador to visitors, and the figures prime location in the fairgrounds serves as a traditional meeting point. On October 19, 2012, the last weekend of the 2012 State Fair of Texas, Big Tex was destroyed by an electrical fire that started in the right boot and worked its way up the structure, first becoming visible from the neck area. After the fire, a new Big Tex was created by SRO Associates and Texas Scenic Co. This rendition made its first public appearance on September 26, 2013.Big Tex donned a mask in September 2020 while the fair was on hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

African American Museum is an American art museum located at 3536 Grand Avenue in Fair Park, Dallas, Texas. The museum was founded in 1974 and has operated independently since 1979. The 7 million dollar structure which is now its home, was funded through private donations, and a 1985 Dallas city bond election, which provided 1.2 million towards its construction. The 38,000-square-foot (3,500 m2) structure, built in the shape of a cross, is made of ivory-colored stone. Natural materials and design motifs are used throughout the museum in a manner reminiscent of pre-industrialized cultures of the African continent.

Deep Ellum is an American neighborhood composed largely of arts and entertainment venues near downtown in East Dallas, Texas. The name is based on a corruption of the area's principal thoroughfare, Elm Street. Older alternative uses include Deep Elm and Deep Elem. The neighborhood lies directly east of the elevated I-45/US 75 (unsigned I-345) freeway and extends to Exposition Avenue, connected to downtown by, from north to south, Pacific, Elm, Main, Commerce, and Canton streets. The neighborhood is north of Exposition Park and south of Bryan Place.

Grace United Methodist Church, formerly Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, is a historic Methodist church at 4105 Junius Street in Dallas, Texas. It was built in 1903 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
