North Africa American Cemetery and Memorial is a Second World War military war grave cemetery, located in the town of Carthage in Tunisia. The cemetery, the only American one in North Africa and dedicated in 1960, contains 2,841 American war dead and covers 27 acres (11 ha). It is administered by the American Battle Monuments Commission.

The University of Carthage (Arabic: جامعة قرطاج) is a university located in Tunis, Tunisia, and was founded in 1988.

The Basilica of Saint-Cyprien, also known as Basilica near Sainte-Monique, is a ruined Christian temple located on the edge of the Tunisian archaeological site of Carthage, on the Bordj Djedid plateau and the seafront. The Christian basilicas of Carthage were excavated by the White Fathers from the 1880s onwards. The largest is the Basilica of Damous El Karita, discovered in 1878 by Father Alfred Louis Delattre. The Basilica of Saint-Cyprien, mostly attributed to Saint Cyprian, was found in 1915 by Father Delattre during his last excavation campaign. The site was explored according to the practices in use at the time. The current remains are meager and difficult to interpret, due to untimely interventions at the 1930 Carthage Eucharistic congress. The building enjoys a panoramic view over the Gulf of Tunis and the Djebel Boukornine and has been identified by literary sources as the edifice dedicated to Saint Cyprian, who died on September 14, 258 during the persecution of Valerian. This identification, proposed at the time of the excavations, has been confirmed by most researchers, including Charles Saumagne, based on ancient texts. However, the absence of epigraphic sources to formally confirm the identification raises questions. The building whose ruins were excavated in the 20th century was the successor to a construction dating from the end of the 4th century, and was in use throughout Late antiquity, including the Vandal period and into the 6th century. The building and adjacent cemetery were probably in use until the Arab-Muslim conquest of 698.

The basilica of Damous El Karita is a Tunisian basilica, located in Carthage, dating from the Late antiquity and the Byzantine epoch. It is situated nearby the Odeon hills within the archeological site of Carthage. Most important and known Christian architectural complex within the capital of the Roman province of Africa, it is according to Noël Duval "one of the most important Christian monuments" but also "most abused and poorly known". The architectural complex, indeed was one of the most important architectural Christian cultural ensembles of North Africa from the late antiquity up to the late middle-ages. The entire ensemble was composed of 2 churches, at least one martyrium, several Hypogeums as well as a subterran rotunda with a complex interpretation.The importance of the complex suggests that the place was not only a funerary center but also a major pilgrimage site linked to the cults of the saints buried in this place as well as of important religious festivals. The identification of the basilica is complex but, following recent works, some authors accept the identification with a basilica known by literary sources as the basilica Fausti .

Villa Baizeau is a residential home in the Carthage Palace, Tunis, Tunisia designed by Swiss modernist architect Le Corbusier in 1928. The building is the only work in Tunisia by the architect.Le Corbusier designed the entire project remotely; neither he nor any member of his staff visited the site before, during, or following construction of the building.

Carthage Palace (Arabic: قصر قرطاج), is the presidential palace of Tunisia, and the official residence and seat of the President of Tunisia. It is located along the Mediterranean Sea at the current city of Carthage, near the archaeological site of the ancient city, fifteen kilometers from Tunis. A house by Le Corbusier sits within the site.

The Asterius chapel (French: Chapelle d'Astérius) is a small underground Christian building dating from the 5th-7th centuries, now located within the archaeological park of the Baths of Antoninus in the archaeological site of Carthage, Tunisia. The building - whose function is unknown, although specialists believe it must have had both a liturgical and funerary function - was previously located on the Sayda plateau, formerly known as the "hill of sainte-Monique". The monument was located at the heart of an area that yielded both a late necropolis and cult buildings. It bears witness to the pivotal period between the Vandal kingdom and the Byzantine reconquest of present-day Tunisia. During excavations in the 1950s, it was decided to move it to the Baths of Antoninus archaeological park, given its state of preservation, so that the mosaic decoration would not be lost as a result of urban development in the area.

The Baths of Antoninus or Baths of Carthage, located in Carthage, Tunisia, are the largest set of Roman thermae built on the African continent and one of three largest built in the Roman Empire. They are the largest outside mainland Italy. The baths are also the only remaining Thermae of Carthage that dates back to the Roman Empire's era. The baths were built during the reign of Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius.The baths are at the South-East of the archaeological site, near the presidential Carthage Palace. The archaeological excavations started during the Second World War and concluded by the creation of an archaeological park for the monument. It is also one of the most important landmarks of Tunisia. The baths are today part of the Archaeological site of Carthage on the list of World Heritage sites of UNESCO. On 17 February 2012, the Tunisian government proposed the Roman hydraulic complex Zaghouan-Carthage, that the baths are part of, as a future World Heritage site.

La Marsa (Tunisian Arabic: المرسى Il Marṣā) is a coastal town in far north eastern Tunisia near the capital Tunis. The population is estimated as 92,987, as of 2014. The old summer capital of pre-colonial Tunisia, it is today a popular vacation spot for many wealthy Tunisians. It is connected to Tunis by the TGM railway. Gammarth is adjacent to El Marsa further up the coast.

Lycée Gustave Flaubert is a French international school in La Marsa, Tunisia. It serves levels sixième of collège (junior high school/middle school) until terminale, the final year of lycée (senior high school/sixth form college).The Société du Collège Maurice Cailloux, founded on October 1, 1948, by French officials and farmers, established the school, initially a private boarding school for French children. It was named the Collège Maurice Cailloux in 1952. The school was developed by the architect Tissot. The French government purchased the facility in 1957. It was originally established as a collège only and was an annex of the Lycée Français de Carthage, which at the time was newly built. Collège Cailloux was extended to the lycée level when the former Lycée Français de Carthage was given to the Tunisian government in 1961 as part of the independence of Tunisia. The school was officially renamed Lycée Gustave Flaubert, but is still popularly known as "lycée Cailloux" even after it adopted its current official name on May 27, 1998.As of 2015-2016 it had 1,571 students and 220 staff.

The Royal Palace of Carthage or nowadays Zarrouk Palace was a residence of the Tunisian Kings, in Carthage, Tunisia. It was the last Royal Palace in the Kingdom of Tunisia before the declaration of the Republic in 1957.

Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie (EPT), (Arabic: المدرسة التونسية للتقنيات al-madrasa at-tounisia lit-takniat, French: L'École polytechnique de Tunisie or EPT) is a Tunisian Engineering School. It was founded on June 26, 1991 by order of law N°91-42, and welcomed its first students in September 1994. The school is under the sole supervision of the University of Carthage and recruits from a pool of top ranking students from the national engineering school entrance exam. The majority of students belong to the Preparatory Institute for Scientific and Technical Studies.
