Sentischhorn

The Flüela Pass (German: Flüelapass, Romansh: Pass dal Flüela, elevation 2,384 m (7,822 ft)) is a high mountain pass of the Swiss Alps in Graubünden. Traditionally considered the boundary between the Albula and Silvretta Alps, the pass crosses the watershed / drainage divide between the basins of the rivers Rhine and Danube. The pass is overlooked by the Flüela Schwarzhorn (Albula Alps) and the Flüela Wisshorn (Silvretta Alps). The summit of the pass lies between the lakes Lai da la Scotta and Lai Nair.The Flüela Pass is one of the three paved road passes connecting the Engadin with the northern Grisons, the two other being the Julier Pass and the Albula Pass.The Flüela Pass is traversed by a paved road. The latter road connects Davos (central Graubünden) with Susch (Engadin). On the summit of the pass is the Flüela Hospice. Since 1999, the range can be traversed by rail as well, although at a drastically lower elevation, through the Vereina Tunnel. The line, operated by the Rhaetian Railway, connects Klosters with Susch and Lavin and runs about 5-7 kilometres northeast of the Flüela road, parallel to it. Car shuttle trains are also operated on the line. As a result, the pass road is no longer guaranteed to be open all year. An NGO, Pro Flüela Verein, was established in 1990 to extend the opening outside the summer months. It raises money from membership fees, and grants from the cantonal government and local communes.

The Dischma is a valley on the territory of the Swiss municipality of Davos. The name is derived from the Latin: decimus ("Tenth"). It is documented as decimata in the 12th century.

The Wuosthorn (2,815 m) is a mountain of the Albula Alps, located south of Davos in the canton of Graubünden. It lies north of the Bocktenhorn, on the range between the valleys of Sertig and Dischma.

The Gorihorn (also known as Isentällispitz) is a mountain of the Silvretta Alps, located north of the Flüela Pass in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

The Pischahorn is a mountain of the Silvretta Alps, located east of Davos, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Several trails lead to its summit.

The Jakobshorn (2,590 metres (8,500 ft)) is a mountain of the Albula Alps, overlooking Davos in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is also one of the five skiing regions of the Davos Klosters Mountains, offering 14 pistes. Located at the northern end of the range between the Dischmatal and Sertigtal, the Jakobshorn is served by a two-part cable car running from Davos Platz. Once on the mountain there are three chairlifts, one short cable car, and one T-Bar. Since 1995 there has also been a two-person chair-lift, running from near the base station to the near the bottom of Usser Isch. There are a variety of pistes on the Jakobshorn—blue, red and black—and the mountain is renowned for being a centre for snowboarding; Bolgen provides an illuminated super pipe. Pistes are very wide and the area is popular with novice skiers, there are however a number of black terrains for the more adventurous skier. The main two lifts also open during the summer, from July–October, and there are many walks on the Jakobshorn. The Jakobshorn is also a favoured take-off point for hang-gliders and snowkiters.

The Sertig Valley is located in the municipality of Davos, south of the town, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is a lateral valley of the Landwasser valley. The small village of Sertig Dörfli (at 1,861 m) is accessible by road.

The AlpenGold Hotel, formerly branded as InterContinental, is a luxury hotel located in Davos, Switzerland. Opened in 2013 to serve as a vacation and business resort in the Grison Alps, it was managed under the brand InterContinental, one of the world's major luxury hotel and resort brands. The building is known worldwide for its "golden egg" architecture; it is the main hotel supporting the annual January meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The hotel features 216 rooms, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a spa, as well as a private cinema.

The Chüealphorn is a mountain of the Albula Alps, overlooking the Scaletta Pass, in Graubünden, Switzerland.

Lake Davos (German: Davosersee) is a small natural lake at Davos, Switzerland. Its surface area is 0.59 km² and the maximum depth is 54 m. Fed by sources of the Rhine, Flüelabach and Totalpbach, among other mountain creeks, the lake is used as a hydropower reservoir; its water no longer flows to the river Landwasser but is channeled into the river Landquart at Klosters.

The Dischmabach is a river of approximately 15 km long in the river system of Albula. It drains the Dischma valley, its catchment area lies mainly in the area of the Swiss municipality of Davos. The source Dischmabach has two equal headwaters. The one on the National Map of Switzerland is a creek without a registered name and has its headwaters in the area of the Scaletta Pass (46°41′37″N 9°55′35″E). The other headwater is called Furggabach and has its headwaters on Fuorcla Grialetsch at 46°43′4″N 9°57′3″E. The confluence of the two headwaters is at Dürrboden. Then the Dischmabach flows in a northwesterly direction through the elongated and gently sloping Dischma valley and flows into the Landwasser between Davos Dorf and Davos Platz. Within the Posterior Rhine system, the sources of Dischmabach are about 72 km from the confluence of the Anterior and Posterior Rhine. Only the headwaters Rein da Medel, Rein da Maighels and Rein da Curnera in the Vorderrhein system are further away from this confluence (about 74–76 km). Thus the Dischmabach is, in terms of length, one of the most important headwaters of the Rhine (see also sources of the Rhine).

Davos Dorf railway station (German: Bahnhof Davos Dorf) is a railway station in the municipality of Davos, in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Landquart–Davos Platz line of the Rhaetian Railway.Northbound, there is a half-hourly service towards Landquart. Southbound, there is a half-hourly service to Davos Platz. The station also serves as a hub for local bus services. Davos Platz station is located about 2.5 km southwest of Davos Dorf. The station currently has one platform in use, served by trains in both directions.
