Westfield Academy (formerly Westfield Community Technology College) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Holywell Estate in Watford, Hertfordshire, England.Previously a community school and Technology College administered by Hertfordshire County Council, Westfield Community Technology College converted to academy status on 1 September 2013 and was renamed Westfield Academy. The school continues to coordinate with Hertfordshire County Council for admissions. Westfield Academy provides leisure facilities to the public. The leisure facilities were opened in September 2004 and were originally run by Watford Borough Council. In August 2007, Fusion Lifestyle took over the management. Westfield Academy also has close links with Watford Football Club. They also have links with the local primary schools, St Anthony's, Holywell and Laurence Haines. Westfield Academy is also the home ground and base of Gadeside Rangers Football Club.

Watford Vicarage Road is a proposed London Underground station in Watford, Hertfordshire. The station is proposed to be part of the approved, but currently suspended due to funding, Croxley Rail Link project, a scheme to extend the Metropolitan line to Watford Junction railway station, served by Metropolitan line trains between Watford Junction and Central London via Baker Street. Originally the station was to be named either Watford Hospital or Watford General Hospital. On 25 January 2017, the Watford Observer newspaper published an update on the Croxley Rail Link confirming work had stopped as there was an ongoing funding issue.

Watford Stadium Halt railway station was a railway station in Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom on the branch line from Watford Junction to Croxley Green. It served Vicarage Road stadium, home of Watford F.C., and was open only on match days.

Watford Grammar School for Boys (commonly abbreviated as WBGS) is a partially selective academy for boys in Watford in Hertfordshire, England. The school and its sister school, Watford Grammar School for Girls, descend from a Free School founded as a charity school for boys and girls by Elizabeth Fuller in 1704. Despite its name, the school accepts boys of all abilities, although approximately a third are selected for academic or musical aptitude, and brothers of existing pupils are also guaranteed places. Its results are among the highest achieved by non-grammar schools in England.

The A412 is a road in England between Slough and Watford. It was the main artery for this corridor and used to continue to St Albans prior to the construction of the M25. It provides interchange to the A4 in Slough, the A40/M40 at the Denham Roundabout, the M25 in Maple Cross, the A404 in Rickmansworth town centre, the A411 on a partially grade separated dual carriageway in Watford town centre, and the A41 in North Watford.

The Lairage Land is a 4.4 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Watford in Hertfordshire. It is owned and managed by Watford Borough Council.The site is mainly rough grassland, with some woodland and scrub. The River Colne runs along its southern boundary, with stream water crowfoot and yellow water lily growing in the stream. There are birds such as whitethroats and green woodpeckers, gatekeeper and small tortoiseshell butterflies, and Roesel's bush-crickets.There is access from Jellicoe Road.

Cassiobridge was a proposed London Underground station in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. The station would have been part of the Croxley Rail Link project, a scheme to extend the Metropolitan line to Watford Junction railway station. It would have been served by Metropolitan line trains between Watford Junction and Central London via Baker Street. The railway line would run over Ascot Road via a viaduct and the platforms would have been situated on the east side of the road. Entrance to the station would have been from the west side of the road, with a ticket hall and other facilities at street level. Passengers would gain access to the platforms via stairs and lifts and a short footbridge over the road.The station is projected to offer interchange with local transport services, and operate as an unstaffed station, providing automatic ticketing facilities similar to a DLR station. There is potential for Park and Ride facilities to be provided, although planning documents indicate high levels of congestion on adjacent roads. Watford station would close to passenger services, so that all trains from Croxley would continue to Watford Junction. The railway and station had been expected to come into service in 2020 but on 25 January 2017, the Watford Observer newspaper published an update on the Croxley Rail Link confirming that work had stopped as there was an ongoing funding issue.

Watford General Hospital is a 521-bed acute District General Hospital situated on Vicarage Road, Watford, Hertfordshire. Together with Hemel Hempstead Hospital and St Albans City Hospital, it is operated by West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Watford Power Station was a coal-fired power station situated in Watford's Riverside area. The station was built by the Watford Corporation Electricity Department starting with the installation of cables in 1899 with completion around 1900, near the banks of the River Colne. A gas turbine power station was commissioned in 1980.

Cassiobury Park is the principal public park in Watford, Hertfordshire, in England. It was created in 1909 from the purchase by Watford Borough Council of part of the estate of the Earls of Essex around Cassiobury House which was subsequently demolished in 1927. It comprises over 190 acres (77 ha) and extends from the A412 Rickmansworth Road in the east to the Grand Union Canal in the west, and lies to the south of the Watford suburb of Cassiobury, which was also created from the estate. The western part is a 62-acre (25.1 ha) Local Nature Reserve managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. The park hosts the free, weekly timed parkrun 5 km event every Saturday morning at 9 am, starting near the Shepherds Road entrance to the park.

Cassio Road, also known as the West Herts Sport Ground, is a sports ground in Watford in England. It was the home ground of Watford F.C. between 1898 and 1922.
