Eendrachtsplein is an underground subway station in the center of Rotterdam. It is part of the Rotterdam Metro lines A, B, and C. The station is named after Eendracht Square (which is Eendrachtsplein in Dutch). It was opened on 10 May 1982. The station is located near several cultural hotspots, of which photos and location information are displayed on information panels on the station walls. Many party-goers head to this station, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings, to dwell around famous cafés, bars and venues in neighboring Nieuwe Binnenweg, Oude Binnenweg and Westersingel. The station is between Dijkzigt and Beurs on the East-West Line (formerly Caland line), nowadays lines A, B, and C.

The Chabot Museum (Dutch pronunciation: [ʃaːˈbɔt myˈzeːjʏm]) is a museum dedicated to the Dutch painter and sculptor Hendrik Chabot in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The museum is housed in a monumental villa in the Museumpark, near the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and the Netherlands Architecture Institute.

It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1985 and the periods 1987-1989 and 2003-2008.Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 13 out of 20 points.In 1993 and 2001, it was mentioned as brasserie, but later reverted to a fine dining restaurant.Fred Mustert was head chef from 1995 to 2007. Kunstinstituut Melly is a contemporary art gallery located in a former school building on Witte de Withstraat, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The center was founded in 1990. It presents curated exhibitions, symposiums, live events, educational programs, and has a separate art literature publishing arm. On 7 September 2017, the Centre announced it would change its name over a number of years to separate it from the Dutch naval agent, Witte de With and to recognise the negative impacts of colonialism. From 27 June 2020 onwards, the Centre entered a period of "namelessness", removing all branding, forming renaming committees and engaging online surveys and roundtables to decide on a new name to come into effect on 27 January 2021. The new name Kunstinstituut Melly, was announced in October 2020, in reference to an art piece displayed on an outside wall of the building called Melly Shum Hates Her Job.

Municipal Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (Dutch pronunciation: [myˈzeːjʏm ˈbɔimɑns fɑm ˈbøːnɪŋə(n)]) is an art museum in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The name of the museum is derived from the two most important collectors of Frans Jacob Otto Boijmans and Daniël George van Beuningen. It is located at the Museumpark in the district Rotterdam Centrum, close to the Kunsthal and the Natural History Museum. The museum opened in 1849. It houses the collections of Frans Jacob Otto Boijmans (1767–1847) and Daniël George van Beuningen (1877–1955). The museum has become the house of over 151,000 artworks over 170 years. In the collection, ranging from medieval to contemporary art, are works of Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and Salvador Dalí and other famous collections that includes the masterpieces of the ‘Achilles series’ by Peter Paul Rubens and ‘A Cornfield, in the Background the Zuiderzee’ by Jacob van Ruisdael.In 2013, the museum had 292,711 visitors and was the 14th most visited museum in the Netherlands. The museum has been closed since 2019 due to improvement works and is scheduled to reopen in 2026.

Museumpark is an urban park in Rotterdam, Netherlands, located between the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Westersingel, Westzeedijk and the complex of the Erasmus MC, a medical centre affiliated with the Erasmus University. The park lies on the former land of the Hoboken family, who lived in the building that is since 1987 the Natuurhistorisch Museum Rotterdam. The park was laid out in 1927 to the design of the architect Witteveen. On the south side of the pond in the park a monument for Gerrit Jongh, director of municipal works in Rotterdam. There are several artworks in the park, so it also serves as a sculpture garden. Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen (initially called 'het Collectiegebouw' (Collection Building), popularly called 'The Pot') is an art depot of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. It is the first publicly accessible art depot in the world. It is a 39.5 meter high, bowl-shaped building that is covered with reflective plates, so that a more or less contiguous, reduced mirror image of the environment can be seen, whereby one can look over the surrounding buildings. To guarantee the privacy of patients of the adjacent Erasmus MC, a number of plates have been made matt on that side. Some rooms where daylight is needed are also fitted with normal glass. An aluminum-coloured IKEA bowl served as inspiration for the shape of the building. The 'Blanda Blank', a slightly shiny serving dish made of stainless steel for 3.99 euros, happened to be on the table as a sugar bowl during preliminary discussions about the design for the building. The first pile went into the ground on March 17, 2017. The building has seven floors. On the roof is a restaurant with 120 seats. The building contains 1 664 mirror panels with a combined surface of 6 609 m². In addition, there are four restoration studios. Inside, part of the collection is displayed in thirteen display cases. In October 2021, the costs for the building were estimated at over ninety million euros. On November 5, 2015, the Rotterdam city council approved the change to the zoning plan in the Museum Park, allowing the plans for a special art depot to be realised. There used to be 255 Acacias trees on the site of the building. According to some experts, they were in a bad condition and could only survive if they were moved to the municipal tree depot. Others disagreed with that view, saying that the new building is destroying the park.Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen was designed by the Dutch architectural firm MVRDV. The entire deposit collection of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (more than 151,000 objects housed together, arranged in fourteen storage compartments with five different climates) is stored here and is publicly accessible, on a total floor area of 15,541 m². Financially, the realization was made possible in part by the 'De Verre Bergen foundation' with a donation of €17 million and a loan of approximately €35 million during the construction phase. The intention is that the exploitation will be paid for from entrance fees and from income from the rental of depot space to private art collectors; 15 percent of the floor space intended for art is reserved for this purpose.

Het Nieuwe Instituut (HNI, English: The New Institute) is a cultural centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It focuses on architecture, design, and digital culture. HNI is in a building designed by Jo Coenen at Museumpark 25 in the centre of Rotterdam, adjacent to the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. The building contains a shop, exhibition space, study centre, and archive, as well as the Sonneveld House (a prime example of Nieuwe Zakelijkheid architecture), a pond, and a small park.

The Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) was a cultural institute for architecture and urban development, which comprised a museum, an archive plus library and a platform for lectures and debates. The NAI was established in 1988 and was based in Rotterdam since 1993. It ceased to exist in 2013, when it became part of Het Nieuwe Instituut. The NAI was a private organisation with a government brief, which was to manage the collection of archives that document the history of Dutch architecture. As a sector institute for architecture it was tasked with supporting the professional field. The building also housed a bookshop and a cafe.
