Gray's General Store

The Rhode Island Red Monument in the hamlet of Adamsville of Little Compton, Rhode Island, at the intersection of Main Street, Adamsville Road, and Old Harbor Road, commemorates the Rhode Island Red breed of chicken, Rhode Island's state bird. The sculpture was completed in 1925 by Henry L. Norton from Winthrop, Massachusetts. The text of the monument reads: To commemorate the birthplace of the / Rhode Island Red breed of fowl which / originated near this location / --red fowls bred extensively by / the farmers of this district and later / named "Rhode Island Reds" and brought into / national prominence by the poultry fanciers -- this tablet placed by the / Rhode Island Red Club of America / with contributions of Rhode Island Red / breeders throughout the world / on land donated by / Deborah Manchester / 1925 The monument was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Adamsville, Rhode Island is a historic village in Little Compton, Rhode Island. It was first settled in 1675 around the time of King Philip's War and was named after the second president of the United States, John Adams.

The First Baptist Church of Tiverton, commonly called the Old Stone Church, is a historic church property at 7 Old Stone Church Road in Tiverton, Rhode Island. The property consists of a cluster of buildings, including a church, parsonage, and parish house, along with a cemetery, on a largely wooded parcel of 38 acres (15 ha). The timber-framed field stone church building was built in 1841, the parsonage in 1885, and the parish house c.1879. The oldest documented cemetery burials are from the mid-19th century. Portions of the property are lined by period stone walls, including some that delineate former fields (now wooded) that would have been farmed by the minister. The church was built by a congregation whose roots date to 1680, making it one of the oldest Baptist congregations in the United States.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The William Whalley Homestead is an historic farmstead in Little Compton, Rhode Island. The main house is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, probably built sometime between 1815 and 1830. The property includes a late 19th century gabled barn and a stone and wood outbuilding, and is bounded by a low stone wall. The main house is a fairly typical Cape style house, five bays wide, with a central chimney. The property as a whole is a well-preserved example of a typical 19th-century farmstead in the area.The homestead was listed on the National Historic Register in 1988.

Quicksand Pond is a pond in Little Compton, Rhode Island. It is a major winter flounder spawning area, has Rare Species Habitat and Significant Natural Communities designation, and is part of a proposed natural greenway corridor. Quicksand Pond is also entirely surrounded by critical habitats, and there are a number of protected areas adjacent to Quicksand Pond. It is part of the Southeastern Coastal Watershed Basin.It is part of one of the most scenic and undisturbed coastal areas in Rhode Island, and its protection is of high priority. Approximately half of the shorelines on Quicksand Pond are undeveloped, the remainder are developed as private residences.

The Cadman–White–Handy House, also known as the Handy House, is a historic house museum in Westport, Massachusetts. The house, built in stages between about 1710 and 1825, provides a window into architectural trends of 18th-century southern Massachusetts. The house is operated as a museum by the Westport Historical, and is open on some Saturdays between June and October. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Westport Town Farm is a 40-acre (16 ha) open space preserve and historic farm complex located in Westport, Massachusetts along the bracken East Branch of the Westport River. The property, owned by the town of Westport and managed by the land conservation non-profit organization The Trustees of Reservations through contract since 2007, was once the town's poor farm and local infirmary.The preserve includes hiking trails, working farmland, salt marsh frontage, an antique farmhouse, dairy barn, corn crib, and stone walls dating back to Colonial times. It is open to hiking, picnicking, cross country skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. The preserve trailhead is located on Drift Road in Westport.

The Paul Cuffe Farm is a National Historic Landmark on 1504 Drift Road in Westport, Massachusetts. The house was traditionally and incorrectly believed to be owned by Paul Cuffe (1759–1815), a prominent farmer and merchant of African American and Native American ancestry. Cuffe was active in promoting the idea of returning African Americans to Africa, making a voyage to what is now Sierra Leone in 1811 to support a fledgling colony there. The farm was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1974.

The Westport Point Historic District is a historic district encompassing an early coastal village in Westport, Massachusetts. Set at the confluence of two branches of the tidal Westport River, the village has a rich architectural history from the late 18th century to the early 20th. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Little Compton Commons Historic District, or Little Compton Commons, is a historic district in Little Compton, Rhode Island. It is a triangular area roughly bounded by School House Lane to the north, South Commons Road to the east, and Meeting House Lane to the south. Properties continue to the west on West Road.

Tiverton Four Corners Historic District encompasses the main village center of Tiverton, Rhode Island. The district extends along Main Road north and south from its junction with East Road and Puncatest Neck Road, or West Road. The 50-acre (20 ha) area consists of sixteen historic buildings, predominantly 18th and early 19th-century houses, as well as the 1868 Union Public Library, mill-related resources at the Mill Pond which was situated just southeast of the main intersection, and the A. P. White Store.Originally inhabited by the Pocasset tribe, John Clarke and William Coddington – who in 1637 had purchased Aquidneck Island across the Sakonnet River from present-day Tiverton from the Narragansett tribe – also obtained from the Wampanoags use of land on the eastern side of the water. Land grants were made by Plymouth Colony as early as 1659, but formal development of the area did not begin until around 1679. After Plymouth Colony was absorbed by Massachusetts, the freemen of the area agitated for separation from it and to be joined to the Colony of Rhode Island. The dispute was not settled until 1746.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
