The Vara is a river of the Province of La Spezia in Liguria, north-west Italy.

Riccò del Golfo di Spezia (Ligurian: Ricò, Latin: Ricotium) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) northeast of La Spezia.

La Spezia Cathedral (Italian: Duomo della Spezia; Cattedrale di Cristo Re; "Cathedral of Christ King") is a Roman Catholic cathedral in La Spezia, Italy. It is the cathedral of the Diocese of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato. It was built between 1956 and 1975 to designs by Adalberto Libera.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,145 and an area of 16.4 square kilometres (6.3 sq mi).The municipality of Arcola contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Baccano, Termo, Fresonara, Monti, Romito Magra, Cerri, and Trebiano. Arcola borders the following municipalities: La Spezia, Lerici, Sarzana, Vezzano Ligure.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,490 and an area of 14.7 square kilometres (5.7 sq mi).Bolano borders the following municipalities: Aulla, Follo, Podenzana, Santo Stefano di Magra, Tresana, Vezzano Ligure.

The Montemarcello Formation is a Late Triassic (Carnian) geologic formation in Liguria, Italy. Fossil prosauropod tracks have been reported from the formation.
