Palm Beach Shores is a town in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,142 at the 2010 census. As of 2018, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 1,264.

Singer Island is a peninsula on the Atlantic coast of Palm Beach County, Florida, in the South Florida metropolitan area. Most of it is in the city of Riviera Beach, but the town of Palm Beach Shores occupies its southern tip. Its latitude of is 26.784 N and its longitude is −80.037; Florida's easternmost point is in Palm Beach Shores. Before the Palm Beach Inlet was created, Singer Island was connected to the island of Palm Beach to the south.

Peanut Island is a 79-acre (0.32 km2) island at the mouth of the Lake Worth Inlet in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The island was created by dredging-related projects in 1918 which also created the inlet and the Port of Palm Beach. Originally named Inlet Island, the island was renamed Peanut Island for a planned peanut oil-shipping operation which failed in 1946. A $13-million renovation on the island in 2005 resulted in Peanut Island Park including camp sites, a pier, and a man-made reef. It includes paths that encircle the island, along with gardens and picnic sites. The island also was the location of a blast shelter built in secret for President John F. Kennedy shortly after his 1960 election. Kennedy often spent winters in nearby Palm Beach, Florida. The shelter, Detachment Hotel, was open for tours for several years, but was closed in October 2017.

Detachment Hotel (also known as "the Kennedy Bunker") is the name used to refer to a small 1,500-square-foot (140 m2) bunker complex on Peanut Island, Florida. It was originally designed for use by the President of the United States, specifically John F. Kennedy, in the event of a nuclear war. Constructed in 1960, the bunker was closed less than three years later, and its existence was declassified in 1974. From 1998 to 2017, it was open to the public as a historic site.

La Querida ("the dear one"), also known as Castillo del Mar ("castle by the sea") for several years, is a residence in Palm Beach, Florida, located at 1095 N. Ocean Boulevard. Completed in 1923, it was built in the Mediterranean Revival-style by well-known architect Addison Mizner at a cost of $50,000. The home is most notable for serving as the "Winter White House" during the presidency of John F. Kennedy. As of 2015, La Querida contains over 15,000 sq ft (1,400 m2) of living space, including eleven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms. Originally constructed for department store fortune heir Rodman Wanamaker, the prominent Kennedy family owned La Querida for more than 60 years, often using the residence as a winter retreat. As president-elect of the United States, John F. Kennedy prepared most of his inaugural address, appointed some cabinet officials, and nearly faced an assassination attempt at La Querida. During Kennedy's presidency, he held a few official meetings at the home, including a discussion on the Alliance for Progress in 1963, less than a week before his assassination. Thereafter, La Querida occasionally became associated with some drinking incidents involving Senator Ted Kennedy and the 1991 rape trial of William Kennedy Smith. La Querida has been owned by a few other notable individuals since the Kennedy family sold the property in 1995, including businessman John K. Castle and real estate investor Jane Goldman. The current owners are Carl (founder of Panattoni Development Company) and Mary Jane Panattoni, who purchased the home in June 2020 for $70 million.

Munyon Island is located in the Lake Worth Lagoon Estuary in North Palm Beach, Florida. It is part of John D. MacArthur Beach State Park.

13th Street is a proposed Tri-Rail Coastal Link Green Line station in Riviera Beach, Florida. The station is planned for construction at 13th Street and President Barack Obama Highway (formerly Old Dixie Highway), just west of Broadway (US 1).

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, named for John D. MacArthur whose Foundation donated a portion of the land for its construction in the 1970s, is located on and just north of Singer Island, Florida in North Palm Beach, Florida. The park was first opened to the public in 1989. It covers 438 acres (1.8 km2) on land and underwater, including an Estuary crossed by a 1,600-foot (490 m) boardwalk, and Munyon Island (named after James Munyon), a wilderness isle in the Intracoastal Waterway that was home to the lavish Hygeia Hotel at the turn of the Twentieth century. The hotel burned to the ground in 1917. Hiking trails and pavilions are open for public use on Munyon Island, which is accessible only by kayak or boat. One section of the park was popularly known as Air Force Beach from the early 1940s until the renaming of the park because it was used by Palm Beach Air Force Base personnel. Nude bathing officially ended with the state's takeover of the park in 1982.MacArthur Beach is a nesting ground for rare sea turtles, including the threatened loggerhead, the endangered green sea turtle, and occasionally the rare leatherback. Many species of birds also visit the park, including peregrine falcons, wood storks, and least terns. In addition to state funds and gate fees, the park receives community support through a local organization, Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park. The William T. Kirby Nature Center features exhibits about the park's natural history, and includes live animal exhibits such as two loggerhead sea turtles. Beach Outfitters Gift Shop and Kayak Rentals, operated by Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park, offers a variety of gifts and provides rentals of kayaks, dive flags, lockers and binoculars.

The Northboro Park Historic District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on February 20, 2007) located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The district is bounded by 40th N, Flagler Drive, 36th Street and Broadway.
