Dalupitiya

Kirimetiyagara (also written as Kirimatiyagara) is a small village situated in the western part of Sri Lanka. The distance to Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, is about 10 miles from Kirimetiyagara. The closest city to Kirimetiyagara is Kadawatha, which is on the Kandy Road. St Anthony's Catholic church is the main attraction in Kirimetiyagara.

Mahara Prison is a maximum security prison, and is one of the largest prisons in Sri Lanka. Situated in the town of Mahara in the Western Province, it was built in 1875 by the British colonial government to ease the congestion at the Slave Island prison. It was used to house the prisoners employed in crushing stones at the Mahara quarry. The stone was used to construct the Port of Colombo and its associated breakwaters. Since its establishment, it has had a police post attached to it. The prison is administered by the Department of Prisons.

St. Sebastian's Church, Enderamulla (Sinhala: සා. සෙබස්තියන් දේවස්ථානය, එඬේරමුල්ල) is a Roman Catholic church in the Archdiocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is located in Enderamulla, Wattala. The church was established in 1891. After being a co‑parish with Dalugama (1879–1903) and Kirimetiyagara (1903–1934), it was declared as an independent parish in 1934. A tiny fragment of Saint Sebastian's forearm bone is preserved in a special reliquary, which is located together with the Monstrance in a glass chamber inside the eucharistic chapel on the left side of the main church building.

Enderamulla (Sinhala: එඬේරමුල්ල) is a small village with a relatively large population situated in the Gampaha District, Western Province, Sri Lanka. The village is about 10.5 km (6.5 mi) north of Colombo. The closest urban settlement to Enderamulla is Wattala, which is situated on the (A3) Colombo-Negombo Road. St. Sebastian's Church, Enderamulla is one of the main attractions in Enderamulla. History (Sinhala: ඉතිහාසය) A small village established in ancient kingdom of Kelaniya to supply services and perform duties of the castle, located in the western corner of the ‘Siyane korale’(county), surrounded by the south of ‘Mudun Canal’, west of the ‘Eeri Canal’ and bounded on the west and south by ‘Kalu Oya. This whole area include three villages known as Enderamulla, Pinnameda and Gongitota. The family names of descendants, relics of ancient buildings and geographic characteristics declare the historical value of our village and church and its links to the Sri Lankan history. Arrival of Portuguese in 1505 to the Western coast influence the expansion of Roman Catholic population, and historical writings indicate that Enderamulla was situated 8 miles north from the presidency of Portuguese which was under their command. According to the legends, during the Portuguese period; first church was constructed at Enderamulla with the help of Franciscan and Jesuitical priests. This was later destroyed by the Dutch. According to folklore it was built in a place called ‘Gurugoda welyaya’. When the Dutch period of rule began in the late 17th century, Catholics and the church had to undergo severe hardship as Protestantism was introduced and enforced by the rulers. After 150 years of time the second church was built during the British period of rule and dedicated it to St. Sebastian based on folklore of first church. In January 30th, 1855, a catholic patron Hendalage Don Hendrik Cangon donated present land to church which was later called ‘Palliyawatta’ Construction of present church began with the blessings of Archbishop Christopher Bonjan in 1891 and completed in 1920 with endeavored 29 years of work. In the beginning Enderamulla church was included in ‘Dalugama’ parish and when completed it was included in ‘Kirimetiyagara’ parish. Currently Enderamulla St. Sebastian church is one of the leading and largest parishes in the Colombo diocese and we are truly blessed and felicitous descendants to carry a legacy of ancestors who thought serving Christ is prestigious.

The A 1 road (commonly known as the Colombo - Kandy Road or just the Kandy Road) is an A-Grade trunk road in Sri Lanka. It connects the capital city of Colombo with Kandy.

Makola is a town in the Gampaha District of Sri Lanka.

The University of Kelaniya (UoK; Sinhala: කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය, Tamil: களனி பல்கலைக்கழகம்) is a public university in Sri Lanka. Just outside the municipal limits of Colombo, in the city of Kelaniya, the university has two major institutions and seven faculties.

Mabola or Mabole is a town and Urban Council in Gampaha District in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. With Wattala it forms Wattala–Mabola urban council. It is located in Negombo road and it is the route for travel to Bandaranaike International Airport. The newly constructed, Sri Lanka's second E Class highway, Colombo - Katunayake Expressway E03 crosses to the seaside through Mabola.

Navy Ground is a cricket ground in Welisara, Sri Lanka. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 2002 when Galle Cricket Club Under-23s played Nugegoda Sports and Welfare Club Under-23s. First-class cricket was first played there in 2006 when Burgher Recreation Club played Saracens Sports Club in the 2006/07 Premier Trophy. To date twenty first-class matches have been held there, though home side Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club didn't start playing there until the 2009/10 season. The first List A was held there in the 2006/07 Premier Limited Overs Tournament when Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club played Sri Lanka Army Sports Club. To date, ten List A matches have been played there.

Naval Boat Building Yard (NBBY) is a shipyard of the Sri Lanka Navy situated in Welisara that produce small and specialist watercraft for the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, state institutions and civilians.

The Sapugaskanda Refinery (also referred to as Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery) is the single largest oil refinery of Sri Lanka. The refinery was built in August 1969 by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation under the guidance of Iran, initially designed to process 38,000 barrels (6,000 m3) per stream day of Dubai crude oil, and Arabian light crude oil. (Medium sour crude oil) It was commissioned on 12 October 1969. The facility, which covers an area of 165 acres (67 ha), currently has a capacity of 50,000 barrels (7,900 m3) per stream day. As with most refineries, the Sapugaskanda Refinery has an in-house utilities section which supplies electricity, water, steam, instrument air, and other necessities for operations. In total, 65 storage tanks are located at the premises for storage of crude oil, finished, and other products, five of which has a capacity of 40,000 tonnes (39,000 long tons). A further four crude oil tanks located in the separate Orugodawatta tank farm.
