Port de Cabús

Tor is a village within the Alins municipality of the Pallars Sobirà in Catalonia, Spain. Its municipal boundary borders with Andorra close to the spot in La Massana parish where the Vallnord ski resort complex, formed by Pal and Arinsal, is located. This small village had only 25 inhabitants in 2005. It is located in the Pyrenees, close to the Port de Cabús mountain pass at an altitude of 2,301 metres (7,549 ft). Tor was formerly a place where much tobacco product cross-border smuggling took place. Recently, during the Spanish real estate bubble Tor also became notorious for a local conflict about the ownership of a particular mountain within its municipal boundary, close to the Andorra border. This conflict triggered greed among local families and became the cause of three murders, following which a book Tor: tretze cases i tres morts (Tor: thirteen houses and three dead), by Carles Porta, was published.

Os de Civís (Catalan pronunciation: [ˌoz ðə siˈβis]) is a village in the central Pyrenees mountains, in the municipality of Les Valls de Valira in Catalonia, Spain, and is located to the west of Andorra, near the villages of Aixàs and Bixessarri. Civís is the nearest Spanish village. It is the most populated village in the municipality. Os de Civís is very close to the Spain–Andorra border, and is unique in being the only Spanish village that can be reached by vehicle only by going through Andorra. The border crossing is unique in Andorra in that there is no border control: Andorra is in neither the Schengen Area nor the European Union, and thus operates full border and customs checks at all other border crossings with Spain and France, but the crossing to Os de Civís is unpoliced as the road leads solely to the village, with no access to anywhere else in Spain. The village has a number of medieval buildings, including a Romanesque church.

Estanys de Baiau (Catalan pronunciation: [əsˈtaɲz də βəˈjaw]) is a pair of lakes in Catalonia, Spain approximately 1 kilometre from the border with Andorra. The lakes are surrounded by several notable Pyrenean mountains, including Pic de Baiau and Coma Pedrosa—the highest mountain in Andorra—to the east, and Pic de Sanfonts to the south. They are both drained by Riu de Baiau, a tributary of the Barranc d'Arcalís.The hiking path GR 11 follows the northern side of the lakes, passing Refugi de Baiau, before splitting in GR11.1 taking the easier path north of Pic de Comapedrosa, or GR11 for a steep 300m climb up loose rocks to Port de Baiau at 2800m where there is a sidepath to the top of Pic de Comapedrosa, or continue for a then easier hiking path down to Arinsal passing Refugi de Comapedrosa.

Coma Pedrosa (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkomə pəˈðɾozə]; 2,943 m or 9,656 ft) is the highest mountain in the principality of Andorra. It is popular with mountain climbers, its ascent being technically straightforward, although strenuous. From Arinsal to Camp de Refuge (650 m climb) is considered moderate meanwhile the last 862 m is considered to be difficult. Several mountain lakes and tarns are found on the slopes, notably Estanys de Baiau, which lies on the western slopes, across the Spanish border. The nearest town is Arinsal, La Massana. Historically, the mountain provided ample security from invasions into Andorra. Nowadays, the mountain is part of the Parc Natural Comunal de les Valls del Comapedrosa national park.

Església de Sant Climent de Pal is a church located in Pal, La Massana Parish, Andorra. It is a heritage property registered in the Cultural Heritage of Andorra. It was built in the 11th or 12th century and then again in the 17th or 18th century.

It overlooks Étang de Soulcem, a large artificial lake used for hydroelectricity, and the Vicdessos valley.There is also an eastern tripoint of Andorra, France, and Spain approximately 6 km south of Pas de la Casa.
