Discus Thrower is a bronze sculpture in Washington, D.C. A copy of Myron's Discobolus, it is located in Edward J. Kelly Park, at 21st Street and Virginia Avenue, N.W. Washington, D.C. The architect was Rodolfo Siviero, and the founder was Bruno Bearzi. It was dedicated on March 1, 1956. It was a gift from the Italian government to commemorate the return of looted art objects after World War II.The inscription reads: (Base of sculpture, east side:) GLI ITALIANI AL POPOLO AMERICANO 28 FEBBRAIO 1956 (Base of sculpture, west side:) SIGNVM IVSTITIAE RESTITVTAE XXVIII.II.MCMXLVIII

The General Jose de San Martin Memorial is an equestrian statue memorial of Argentine general and independence leader José de San Martín in Washington, D.C., United States. The memorial is located at Virginia Avenue and 20th Street N.W. in the Foggy Bottom, Washington, D.C., near the United States Department of State. The memorial was sculpted by Augustin-Alexandre Dumont beginning in 1924. It is a replica of an original located at the Plaza San Martín in Buenos Aires. The memorial was a gift to the United States from Argentina and was dedicated on October 28, 1925. President Calvin Coolidge spoke at the dedication. It was rededicated on October 6, 1976.

The Marriner S. Eccles Federal Reserve Board Building houses the main offices of the Board of Governors of the United States' Federal Reserve System. It is located at the intersection of 20th Street and Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C. The building, designed in the Stripped Classicism style, was designed by Paul Philippe Cret and completed in 1937. President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the building on October 20, 1937.The building was named after Marriner S. Eccles (1890–1977), Chairman of the Federal Reserve under President Roosevelt, by an Act of Congress on October 15, 1982. Previously it had been known as the Federal Reserve Building.

In April 2014 HRU received some publicity for saving the Federal government over $100 million in cost savings in training costs.HRU’s mission was to offer a learning environment to develop qualified human resources professionals across the United States Federal Government. HRU was the primary training organization for the Federal Human Resources Workforce, and provided formal and informal training for students both in the classroom and on the job. HRU provided formal classroom and online training and had a virtually continuous presence with the workforce through online continuous learning and knowledge sharing on HRU's Web site. HRU’s training opportunities worked to enhance workplace performance and promote mission effectiveness in order to provide a foundation for the future of the Federal Human Resources workforce. The Institute for International Economic Policy (abbreviated as IIEP) is a research institution dedicated to the study of global economic governance, based in Washington, DC at the Elliott School of International Affairs of the George Washington University. Walt Whitman Park is a park located on E Street, NW between 19th & 20th Streets, NW in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, D.C. There is a small playground in the eastern end of the park, across from Rawlins Park. Directly south of the park is the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM). North of the park is the Elliott School of International Affairs Building of the George Washington University.

The National Museum of American Diplomacy (NMAD) is the first museum in the United States dedicated to telling the stories of American diplomacy. It's mission is to inspire discovery of how American diplomacy shapes the nation's prosperity and security. The museum is currently under development and is raising funds for the completion of the museum through a public-private partnership with the Diplomacy Center Foundation. NMAD is located at the 21st Street entrance of the Harry S Truman building in Washington, D.C. where the U.S. Department of State is headquartered. The National Museum of American Diplomacy falls under the Bureau of Public Affairs. Previously, it was called the United States Diplomacy Center and was renamed in November 2019.

The Truman Building is named after Harry Truman, the 33rd President of the United States, who was influential in the advancement of the State Department.
