Helena College University of Montana is a public community college in Helena, Montana. It was established in 1939 and was previously known as The University of Montana – Helena College of Technology, Helena College of Technology, and the Helena Vocational-Technical Center. The school offers associate degrees in arts, science, and applied science as well as technical proficiency certificates in various fields.

St. Peter's Hospital is a healthcare facility in Helena, Montana. The hospital was founded in 1883. The facility has a 24-bed behavioral center and a 99-bed acute care facility. It is accredited by DNV. The facility was the subject of controversy due to Dr Thomas C Weiner's practice there. Weiner was fired in 2020. St Peter's paid a fine of more than $10 million in response to a federal investigation over charges for procedures that were never actually performed.

Helena Regional Airport (IATA: HLN, ICAO: KHLN, FAA LID: HLN) is a public airport two miles northeast of Helena, in Lewis and Clark County, Montana, United States. It is owned by the Helena Regional Airport Authority.The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport (more than 10,000 enplanements per year). Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 82,673 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2022, 82,673 in 2022.

T. H. Kleinschmidt House is a historic house in Helena, Montana. It was built in 1892 for T. H. Kleinschmidt, his wife and their six children. Kleinschmidt was a Prussian-born immigrant who invested in placer mining and later co-founded the First National Bank of Helena with Governor Samuel Thomas Hauser (who lived at the Hauser Mansion). It was designed in the Victorian architectural style by W. E. Norris. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 6, 1980.

The Montana Library Association is the state library association of Montana. It is run by librarians from across the state.Their mission is, "to develop, promote, and improve library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all." They grant library awards including the Sheila Cates Librarian of the Year and the Montana Library of the Year at their annual conference. According to the Montana State Library, the Association, "is a statewide professional organization dedicated to supporting libraries, trustees and library staff in Montana...Throughout the year MLA hosts retreats and an annual conference where members can meet and learn more about what is happening in libraries."It is listed in the 2016-07-13 Senate Congressional Record, as well as other lists of State Library Associations.

Helena High School is a public high school for grades 9 through 12 located in Helena, Montana, United States. It is part of the Helena Public School District. Founded in September 1876, it is the oldest high school in the state of Montana. A new building was completed in August 1935 and it was almost destroyed a few months later in the 1935 Helena earthquake. In 1955, the building became Helena Junior High School (now Helena Middle School) and Helena High School moved into its present location at 1300 Billings Avenue, just off Montana Avenue.

The Montana Supreme Court is the highest court of the state court system in the U.S. state of Montana. It is established and its powers defined by Article VII of the 1972 Montana Constitution. It is primarily an appellate court which reviews civil and criminal decisions of Montana's trial courts of general jurisdiction and certain specialized legislative courts, only having original jurisdiction in a limited number of actions. The Montana Veterans and Pioneers Memorial Building, at 225 North Roberts in Helena, Montana is the Modern Movement-style headquarters of the Montana Historical Society. It was built in 1953 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.The design of Great Falls architect Angus Vaughn McIver won the architectural design contest. It was built by Carson Construction Company.

The Montana House of Representatives is, with the Montana Senate, one of the two houses of the Montana Legislature. Composed of 100 members, the House elects its leadership every two years.
