Brooklands was a 2.767-mile (4.453 km) motor racing circuit and aerodrome built near Weybridge in Surrey, England, United Kingdom. It opened in 1907 and was the world's first purpose-built 'banked' motor racing circuit as well as one of Britain's first airfields, which also became Britain's largest aircraft manufacturing centre by 1918, producing military aircraft such as the Wellington and civil airliners like the Viscount and VC-10.The circuit hosted its last race in August 1939 and today part of it forms the Brooklands Museum, a major aviation and motoring museum, as well as a venue for vintage car, motorcycle and other transport-related events.

The 1937 Campbell Trophy (formally known as I Campbell Trophy) was a Grand Prix that was held on 1 May 1937 at Brooklands near Weybridge, United Kingdom. It was the fourth round of the 1937 Grand Prix season, but it did not count towards the championship. The race, contested over 100 laps of 3.65 km, was won in the Class over 1500cc by Prince Bira, the only non-British driver in this event, driving a Maserati 8CM after starting from fourth position on the grid. The victory in the 1500cc Class was taken by Teddy Rayson, driving a Maserati 4C.

Mercedes-Benz World is a facility open to the public at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey, UK. It is owned and operated by the Mercedes-Benz Group and opened in October 2006 (2006-10). Since then over 3 million people have visited. Mercedes-Benz World was the first track in the UK to provide the MSA's (Motor Sports Association) newly developed coaching course leading to a professional certificate in coaching motorsport - the highest coaching qualification currently available in motorsport in the UK aimed at professional race instructors and race teams.

Brooklands Museum is a motoring and aviation museum occupying part of the former Brooklands motor-racing track in Weybridge, Surrey, England. Formally opened in 1991, the museum is operated by the independent Brooklands Museum Trust Ltd, a private limited company (No.02109945) and a registered UK charity (No.296661); its aim is to conserve, protect and interpret the unique heritage of the Brooklands site.

The London Bus Museum is a purpose-built transport museum, open daily to the public and located at Brooklands in Weybridge, England. Entry is on a joint basis with Brooklands Museum. The museum is operated by the London Bus Preservation Trust and exhibits around thirty-five examples (from its forty+ collection) of London buses, coaches and ancillary vehicles covering 100 years of development of the bus in London including Victorian-era horse-buses, 1920s open-top buses, streamlined 1930s designs and through World War II to the mass-standardisation of the 1950s, the AEC Routemasters of the 1960s and the rear-engined buses of the 1970s. The collection includes pre World War II AEC Regents, post-war AEC Regent III RTs and AEC Routemasters and the exhibits are arranged in an historical timeline, divided into galleries representing milestones in the development of the London bus, placing each artefact in its contemporary setting. The Museum's collection contains some unique exhibits, many of which have been fully restored by the volunteers, including prototypes of the AEC Regent III RT and the Routemaster and the only surviving World War II "utility" bus that ran in London.

Byfleet & New Haw railway station is on the London to Woking line, operated by South Western Railway. The station is at the northern edge of Byfleet with the village of New Haw immediately to the north and the M25 motorway within 400 m (1,300 ft) to the west. It is in the county of Surrey and 500 m (1,600 ft) from the Brooklands business, industrial, museum and retail estate in the south west of Weybridge. It is 20 miles 32 chains (32.8 km) from London Waterloo and is situated between Weybridge and West Byfleet.

Byfleet is a village in Surrey, England. It is located in the far east of the borough of Woking, around 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of West Byfleet, from which it is separated by the M25 motorway and the Wey Navigation. The village is of medieval origin. Its winding main street, High Road, contains old large public houses and several timber-framed houses, as well as other 16th and 17th century houses with listed status. The former Brooklands motor racing circuit is located just to the north, while to the east, across the River Wey, is the former Silvermere estate, now a golf club. Byfleet is served by Byfleet & New Haw railway station, on the South West Main Line. In July 2012, its northern bypass hosted the long-distance cycling road races for the 2012 Summer Olympics.

G-BBDG (manufacturer's serial number 202, known as "Delta Golf") was the British development Concorde built for evaluation testing. Along with the French Concorde F-WTSB, the aircraft was used to enable sufficient testing to allow for the Concorde fleet to receive certification. She was stored at Filton airfield from the mid-1980s until 2003, when she was transported by road to the Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey.

British Aerospace Company Ground was a cricket ground in Byfleet, Surrey. The ground was built as a works venue for the nearby Vickers-Armstrongs factory at nearby Brooklands. In 1920 a factory side was established, although the first recorded match on the ground was in 1970 when Surrey played Warwickshire in what was the ground's first List-A match. From 1970 to 1979, the ground played host to 10 List-A matches, the last of which was between Surrey and Warwickshire in the 1979 John Player League.The ground also hosted 7 Surrey Second XI matches in the Second XI Championship between 1970 and 1978.1979 was to be the final year in which the ground was used, with the M25 motorway being constructed through it.

Heathside School is a co-educational secondary school for students aged 11–18 situated in Brooklands Lane, Weybridge, Surrey, England. The Executive Principal is Anne Cullum.The school used to be a Foundation Community Technology College in affiliation with the Diocese of Guildford. The school is also affiliated with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.The Good School Guide described the school as a "Winning combination of committed staff and eager students – state education as it should be". In its 2018 report Ofsted described the school as a Good School.In September 2022 Heathside School will be opening a sister school, Heathside, Walton-on-Thames, to be built on greenbelt land. On 4 June 2020, Elmbridge Borough Council approved the plans with local MP Dominic Raab describing it as "an important step towards a great new local school".

Coxes Lock is towards the northern end of the Wey Navigation parallel to the River Wey in Addlestone, Surrey, Most parts of the navigation are canal sections such as this - most only receive flow from opening of locks, small field ditches and rainfall. However a re-engineered brook (the Old Rive Ditch) alongside the Basingstoke Canal at West Byfleet make all sections up to a point near Sheerwater Bridge, Woking receive a light minimum flow. The tallest non-ecclesiastical/civic building in South-East of England outside London pre-dating about 1880 is the east of the former mill blocks, which are now apartments. A tree-lined towpath and lakeside path run to the lock as does a cul-de-sac for vehicles leading to the apartments. The Mill Pond at Coxes Lock is the largest on the Wey Navigation and helps to control the water depth above an engineered rapid 8 feet 6 inches (2.59 m) millstream cascaded drop, which was originally one drop with a turning waterwheel. In some 19th-century sources, Cox's Lock is recorded.

New Haw is a village which is part of the Borough of Runnymede in Surrey, England. It is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Addlestone and 20 miles (32 km) southwest by west of London.
