The Apostolic Nunciature to Uzbekistan the diplomatic mission of the Holy See to Uzbekistan. It is located in Tashkent. The Sacred Heart Cathedral (formally the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, sometimes also known as the Polish Church) is a religious building belonging to the Roman Catholic Church, located atthe street Sadiq Asimov, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It is a relatively new structure that was built in the early twentieth century. It is decorated with stained glass windows, small towers on the roof and an arched doorway. It has a living room and a library, named in honor of Pope John Paul II.

The Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan (Uzbek: Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Fanlar akademiyasi, Ўзбекистон Республикаси Фанлар академияси) is the main scientific organization of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It coordinates research in all areas of science and technology. The academy was established in 1943 as the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR. After the collapse of the USSR, it became the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

The Fundamental Library of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences is one of the key parts of "Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan" and plays significant role in development of sciences in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan (Uzbek: Oʻzbekiston respublikasi qurolli kuchlari akademiyasi) is a body for the training of highly qualified military personnel for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was originally established as an inter-service educational institution that serves the purpose of training officers for higher level leadership positions. Cadets who study at the academy are enrolled for at least 2 years. It was the first institution of its kind to be established on the militaries of Central Asia. The school requires all cadets to be fluent in the Uzbek language as well as have a basic knowledge of Russian.

Toshkent is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Oʻzbekiston Line. The station was opened on 8 December 1984 as the eastern terminus of the inaugural section of the line, between Alisher Navoiy and Toshkent. On 6 November 1987 the line was extended to Chkalov. It serves Tashkent's main-line railway station. Column-type station with two underground vestibules. Located beneath the forecourt. Decoration of the walls and ceiling like the head of the column and made in the traditional national spirit, in the stair descents on a platform made of the image, dedicated to the 2200th anniversary of Tashkent and on "Tashkent - a city of peace and friendship," here emblem of the city. When finishing the station it is widely used in marble, granite, ceramics, metal, glass and other materials.

Texnopark is a Tashkent Metro station and the northern terminus of Circle Line. It was opened on 30 August 2020 as part of the inaugural section of the line between Texnopark and Qoʻyliq. The adjacent station is Ohangaron. Transfer to Doʻstlik on Oʻzbekiston Line is available.Until August 2023, this station did not have an official name; the temporary name was Doʻstlik 2.

Doʻstlik or Dustlik (formerly Chkalov) is a station of the Tashkent Metro on the Oʻzbekiston Line. The station was opened on 6 November 1987 as the eastern terminus of the extension of the line from Toshkent. In 2012 the station's name was changed from Chkalov to Dustlik. The construction of "Chkalov" metro station domed used reinforced concrete structure. The ceiling is painted in turquoise and decorated with electric lights as babochkek, giving the room an atmosphere of flying. In the center of the column set made of aluminum, in the shape of the radar. The lobby and the staircase walls are covered with white marble Gazgan and the floor surface is covered with gray and black granite. In one of the side walls of the lobby has been established panels devoted to the 50th anniversary of the flight from Moscow (USSR) to Vancouver (USA) over the North Pole without landing, and a bas-relief of Valery Chkalov. In October 2012, these design elements were barbarously destroyed. One solution is aligned with the entrance of the Tashkent mechanical plant. On 30 August 2020, interchange to Doʻstlik 2 of the newly opened Circle Line became operating.

Hamid Olimjon is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Chilonzor Line. This station is named after poet Hamid Olimjon. The station vault type with two underground vestibules. It was opened on 18 August 1980 as part of the second section of Chilonzor Line, between October inkilobi and Maksim Gor'kiy.On the station platform 9 luminaire made of white marble and glazes are mounted (painter I. Lipen).
