The Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan (Uzbek: Oʻzbekiston respublikasi qurolli kuchlari akademiyasi) is a body for the training of highly qualified military personnel for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was originally established as an inter-service educational institution that serves the purpose of training officers for higher level leadership positions. Cadets who study at the academy are enrolled for at least 2 years. It was the first institution of its kind to be established on the militaries of Central Asia. The school requires all cadets to be fluent in the Uzbek language as well as have a basic knowledge of Russian.

The Tashkent Higher All-Arms Command School (Uzbek: Тошкент Олий Умумқўшин Қўмондонлик билим Юрти, ТОУКБЮ) was a military academy of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan. It was previously known as the Tashkent Higher Combined Arms Command School named after Vladimir Lenin (Russian: Ташкентское Высшее Общевойсковое Командное Училище имени В.И. Ленина, ТВОКУ). It was one of the oldest military establishments of the USSR preparing infantry officers for the Soviet Army. The school was disbanded after former Uzbek SSR gained independence in 1991 and became the Republic of Uzbekistan. The last banner of the school was removed from the No. 1 Guard Post and deposited into the State Museum of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.

The Iranian ambassador in Tashkent is the official representative of the Government in Tehran to the Government of Uzbekistan.

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy is located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It was founded on September 23, 1992, by the decree of the President Karimov to train future leaders of the country. The University of World Economy and Diplomacy is a public institution which provides education that serves the interests of foreign policy of Uzbekistan and contributes to the development of society and the individual. The university has a strong alumni network.

The Regnum Plaza (Russian: Регнум Плаза) is a mixed-use complex located in the center of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Regnum Plaza is the largest building and smart city in Central Asia. On June 11, 2020, after the project stage, Uzbekistan and Belarus signed an agreement for the construction of Regnum Plaza. Regnum Plaza includes five buildings whose total area exceeds 500,000,00 m2. The complex includes office towers of 10 and 15 floors, and a residential tower of 13 floors. The fifth building in the complex is an 11-story hotel.

Hamid Olimjon is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Chilonzor Line. This station is named after poet Hamid Olimjon. The station vault type with two underground vestibules. It was opened on 18 August 1980 as part of the second section of Chilonzor Line, between October inkilobi and Maksim Gor'kiy.On the station platform 9 luminaire made of white marble and glazes are mounted (painter I. Lipen).

Buyuk Ipak Yoli is a station of the Tashkent Metro, the northern terminus of Chilonzor Line. It was opened on 18 August 1980 as part of the second section of Chilonzor Line, between October inkilobi and Maksim Gor'kiy.The station was previously known as Maksim Gor'kiy. It was renamed on 1 May 1987.

French School in Tashkent (French: École Française de Tachkent, Russian: Французская школа в Ташкенте, Uzbek: Toshkentdagi Fransuz maktabi) is a French international school in Mirzo-Ulugbek, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, serving preschool through grade 12. French parents opened the school in 1997. The AEFE accredited the primary school in 2001. Students taking the Diplôme National du Brevet examination do so in Tashkent. Students taking the baccalauréat travel to the Lycée Français Alexandre Dumas de Moscou in Moscow for their exams.

The Apostolic Nunciature to Uzbekistan the diplomatic mission of the Holy See to Uzbekistan. It is located in Tashkent. The last Apostolic Nuncio is Archbishop Celestino Migliore, who was named to the position by Pope Francis on 21 January 2017. The Apostolic Nunciature to the Republic of Uzbekistan is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Uzbekistan, with the rank of an embassy. The nuncio serves both as the ambassador of the Holy See to the President of Uzbekistan, and as delegate and point-of-contact between the Catholic hierarchy in Uzbekistan and the Pope.

The Apostolic Administration of Uzbekistan is a Roman Catholic (Latin Church) Apostolic Administration (pre-diocesan jurisdiction; originally an Independent Mission) for the Catholics of Uzbekistan (West Turkistan, Central Asia). It is exempt, i.e. directly subject to the Holy See (not part of any ecclesiastical province) and entitled to a titular bishop. Its episcopal see is the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the national capital Tashkent.

The Sacred Heart Cathedral (formally the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, sometimes also known as the Polish Church) is a religious building belonging to the Roman Catholic Church, located atthe street Sadiq Asimov, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It is a relatively new structure that was built in the early twentieth century. It is decorated with stained glass windows, small towers on the roof and an arched doorway. It has a living room and a library, named in honor of Pope John Paul II.

Mashinasozlar is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Oʻzbekiston Line. The station was opened on 6 November 1987 as part of the extension of the line from Toshkent to Chkalov. Architectural and artistic design of the station is made columns and precast concrete structures. Columns and ceiling of the hall are decorated with reddish-green marble Syon-Shusha. Floors platform halls, vestibules and underground passages are covered with granite. The station was previously known as Tashselmash.
