Gravin van Buren

De Prins van Oranje (English: The Prince of Orange) is a tower mill in Buren, Gelderland, Netherlands which was built in 1716 and has been restored to working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument.

Erichem is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 5 km west of Tiel. It was first mentioned in 850 as Ermkina, and means "settlement of the people of Ero or Eric (person)". The village developed along a former stream as a stretched out esdorp. The St. Joris Church has a 14th century tower with a 13th century base. The church dates from around 1500. In 1840, it was home to 438 people.In 2017, a barn fire in Erichem killed approximately 20,000 pigs. Animal welfare groups launched protests against large scale animal husbandry. In 2019, the farmer announced plans to rebuild. The new barn would house 29,000 pigs.

Lutterveld is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 4 km west of Tiel.Lutterveld is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Erichem. It was first mentioned in 1899 as Lutterveld, and means little field to distinguish from Het Grootveld. It consists of about 25 houses.

Asch is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 9 km northwest of Tiel. It was first mentioned in 889 as Alke. The etymology is unclear. In 1335, there was a chapel in Asch. Around 1518, a church was built. In 1820, Asch was flooded, and the church was abandoned in favour of neighbouring Buren. In 1823, the tower was demolished, and the church was turned into a shelter for high water. In 1839, a new church constructed. In 1840, it was home to 1840 people.

Tweesluizen is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 4 km west of Tiel.Tweesluizen is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Kapel-Avezaath. It was first mentioned in 1899 as Twee Sluizen, and means two sluices. It consists of about 20 houses.

Ravenswaaij is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 10 km northwest of Tiel. It was first mentioned in 1139 as Raueneswade, and means "fordable place of Raven (person)". Ravenswaaij started along the Lek River. A linear settlement appeared on the river dike. The church was destroyed in 1573 by the Spanish troops. The current church dates from 1644. In 1840, it was home to 368 people.

Zandberg is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 9 km northwest of Tiel.Zandberg is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Rijswijk. It was first mentioned in 1874 Zandberg and means sand hill. It consists of about 20 houses.

Zoelmond is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 10 km northwest of Tiel. It was first mentioned in 1214 as Zolemunde, and means "mouth of the river Zoel". The village developed into a stretched out esdorp along the former river. A chapel was built in 1404 which was expanded into a church around 1447. The tower dates from 1911. In 1840, it was home to 536 people. A grist mill was built in 1714, but it burned down in 1917 and the remainder was demolished in 1987.

Buurmalsen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Betuwe, and lies about 9 km west of Tiel. Part of the village is located in Buren.Buurmalsen was a separate municipality from 1818 to 1978, when it became a part of Geldermalsen.The village is the ancestral home of former president of the United States, Martin Van Buren, whose ancestor Cornelis Maessen immigrated to New Netherland in 1631.

Kerk-Avezaath is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 3 km west of Tiel. A small part of the village (not counted in the statistics above) is part of the municipality of Tiel, and consists of about 60 houses.

Wadenoijen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Tiel, and lies about 4 km west of Tiel. Standing at the edge of the village, near the Linge river, is the village church, a building with a Romanesque tower and nave and a Gothic choir. Wadenoijen was a separate municipality between 1818 and 1956, when the area was divided between the municipalities of Tiel and Zoelen.

Kapel-Avezaath is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Tiel, and lies about 3 km west of Tiel. A few houses in the municipality of Buren are also part of Kapel-Avezaath.
