Le Chesnay

Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt (French pronunciation: [lə ʃɛnɛ ʁɔkɑ̃kuʁ] ) is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, in the department of Yvelines. It was established on 1 January 2019 from the amalgamation of the communes of Le Chesnay and Rocquencourt.

The canton of Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt (before 2021: Le Chesnay) is an administrative division of the Yvelines department, northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt.It consists of the following communes: Bailly Bougival La Celle-Saint-Cloud Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt Louveciennes

The André Mignot Hospital is a celebrated teaching hospital in Le Chesnay. Part of the Centre Hospitalier de Versailles and a teaching hospital of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University.It has been created in 1981. It was named in honour of André Mignot, French Politician and Lawyer.

The Cemetery of Notre-Dame, Versailles (French: Cimetière Notre-Dame), is a cemetery in Versailles, Yvelines, France, near the Palace of Versailles. It was established by the church and parish of Notre-Dame in 1777, and covers three hectares. The postal address is 15 Rue des Missionnaires. Besides quantities of burials of aristocrats, members of religious orders and people of artistic or historic interest, there is also an enclosed section for soldiers of the Prussian army who fell during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870–71.

Saint Jean Hulst, founded in 1878, is a secondary school located in Versailles (France). The old name, Saint Jean de Béthune, is still often seen and used. The school has more than 3,000 students from collège (the first four years of secondary education in France) to lyceum. It is known for its Baccalauréat results: 100% accepted from 2006 to 2014. It was also the third largest contributor of students to the Instituts d'études politiques (SciencesPo) in 2009.

The Paris France Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Le Chesnay, a suburb of Paris, France, and is located near Versailles. The Paris France Temple is the first temple built in Metropolitan France, and the second in France, after the Papeete Tahiti Temple.

The Versailles Synagogue is situated at 10, rue Albert Joly in Versailles in the Department of Yvelines. It is one of the oldest synagogues in the Île-de-France. Built between 1884 and 1886 by the architect Alfred-Philibert Aldrophe (1834–1895), it was inaugurated in 1886.

Versailles Rive Droite station (French pronunciation: [veʁsaij ʁiv dʁwat]) is a terminal railway station serving the city of Versailles, a wealthy suburb located west of Paris, France. The "Rive Droite" (English: Right Bank) in the station's name refers to the trains' destination of Paris–Saint Lazare station being on the right bank of the Seine river. The station is operated by SNCF, the French national railway. It is served by Line L of the Paris Region's commuter rail system, the Transilien. The station is one of several in Versailles, but sees fewer trains than the main Versailles Chantiers station, and is not located as close to the Palace of Versailles as Versailles Château Rive Gauche station

ISIPCA (Institut supérieur international du parfum, de la cosmétique et de l'aromatique alimentaire) is a French school for post-graduate studies in perfume, cosmetics products and food flavor formulation, with an apprenticeship period in the industry. It was founded in 1970 by Jean-Jacques Guerlain as ISIP (Institut supérieur international du parfum). It became Groupe ISIPCA in 1984 when the CCIV (Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Versailles-Val-d'Oise-Yvelines) backed up and sponsored the school with significant capital. From 2004 to 2017, ISIPCA and UVSQ (University of Versailles) had established a partnership in order to offer postgraduate programmes (Bachelor's degree Diplomas and Professional Masters) in perfumery, cosmetics and food flavoring. The school is affiliated with the Osmothèque, a perfume archive that researches ancient perfumes, and reconstructs fragrances whose formulas have been lost. The facilities are a mix of renovated ancient buildings, protected by Historic Landmark status, and contemporary architecture by parisian architects Philippe Ameller and Jacques Dubois (2004).

The Musée Lambinet is a municipal museum in Versailles telling the history of the town. Since 1932, it has been housed in the hôtel Lambinet, a hôtel particulier designed by Élie Blanchard, built in the second half of the 18th century by a part of the Clagny lake (drained in 1837) and left to the town of Versailles by the heirs of Victor Lambinet (a cousin of the painter Émile Lambinet) in 1929. It has been classed as a monument historique since 1944. Its garden façade has a sculpted pediment representing an allegorical figure of architecture.

The Château de Clagny was a French country house that stood northeast of the Château de Versailles; it was designed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart for Madame de Montespan between 1674 and 1680. Although among the most important of the private residences designed by this great architect, it was demolished in 1769 after years of neglect. Its appearance can only be traced through the engravings made of it, and scattered references in the archives of the Bâtiments du Roi.

The Théâtre Montansier is a French theatre in rue des Réservoirs, Versailles, near the royal château. It was created by the actress and theatre director Mademoiselle Montansier, designed by Jean-François Heurtier, inspecteur général des bâtiments du roi and designer of the Salle Favart at the Opéra-Comique. The theatre opened 18 November 1777, with Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette in attendance. It has been headed by such figures as Marcelle Tassencourt, wife of Thierry Maulnier, and Francis Perrin. Since 2000, it has been headed by Jean-Daniel Laval who, since taking on the role, has declared his wish to see the Théâtre Montansier opened up to a wider audience.
