Cottam Airport (TC LID: CRB2) is an airport that is located 4 nautical miles (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) east of Cottam, Ontario, Canada, near Albuna, Ontario.

The Comber Wind Farm is a 165.6 megawatt (MW) wind farm in Lakeshore, Ontario, consisting of 72 2.3 MW Siemens SWT 2.3 wind turbines with 101 meter diameter rotors. Construction was completed in January 2012. It is adjacent to the Gosfield Wind Project.

Blytheswood is a small community located in the township of Leamington (formerly Mersea), Essex County, in southwestern Ontario, Canada. The village is at the intersection of Ontario Highway 77 and Concession 8. Blytheswood's more recognized businesses are the Jones Popcorn family farm and Setterington's farm supply depot. Blytheswood and the surrounding area of Leamington are experiencing a boom in greenhouse development for agricultural products supplied to H. J. Heinz Company. The community has a population of about 50 people and the school for this area is Mount Carmel – Blytheswood Public School.

Essex is a provincial electoral district in southwestern, Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It existed from 1867 to 1874 and was re-created in 1999 from Essex South, Essex—Kent and Windsor—Sandwich. When the riding was recreated, it included all of Essex County except for Windsor, Old Tecumseh, St. Clair Beach, Leamington and Mersea Township. In 2007, it lost the parts of Tecumseh that had since been amalgamated (South Sandwich Township).

Mount Carmel – Blytheswood Public School is an elementary school in the north end of Leamington, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Greater Essex County District School Board and serves students from JK to Grade 8 from the communities of Blytheswood and Mount Carmel and surrounding areas. The amalgamated Mount Carmel-Blytheswood Public School first operated in the academic year 2002–2003 with the opening of an addition, completed in the fall of 2002, which more than doubled the size of the school.Enrollment is 302 students. The majority speak English, and 30% are from Mexican-Mennonite backgrounds who speak Low German at home.A Learning Support Program, computer lab and resource library assist teachers in meeting the curricular needs of all students. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including school teams, house league programs and various clubs.
