Tour Ariane (English: Ariane Tower)(previously known as tour Générale between 1973 and 1995) is an office skyscraper located in La Défense, the high-rise business district situated west of Paris, France.Built in 1975, it belongs to the 2nd generation of skyscrapers in La Défense. The tower is 152 m (499 ft) tall and has 36 floors. In spite of a very conventional design, the tower offers an interesting and original cladding. The entrance of the tower was modified in the 1990s. The tower has been undergoing major refurbishment in 2009.The tower is owned by GIC Private Limited, which acquired the tower from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield for approximately €465 million in October 2018.On 27 March 2014, the 52 years old French rock and urban climber Alain Robert, a.k.a. "the French Spider-Man", climbed the famous tower in 45 minutes. Onlookers and police gathered to watch his climb. He was arrested by police and later released without being charged.

The Fonds national d'art contemporain (FNAC; National Foundation for Contemporary Art) is a public collection of contemporary art in France. It does not hold exhibitions but acquires and stores works of art that it loans to museums, cultural institutions and temporary exhibitions in France and abroad. It is the largest collection of contemporary art in France.

With 350,000 m2 (3.77 million sq. ft), it is the building with the most floor space in Europe along with the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest. Coeur Défense was built in 2001, replacing the former Esso Tower, the first building of the old generation to be destroyed in La Défense. Cœur Défense is a large complex made of two main bodies connected to one another by a smaller body and seating on a wide basis made of several smaller bodies. The edges of all bodies are rounded. The cladding is white, with large windows. An electronic system monitors white blinds which can be drawn or opened all together at the same time. The two main bodies are 161 m (528 ft) tall each. Both of them are relatively thin as their width is only 24 m (79 ft), and they are out of line with each other, so that sunlight can reach all parts of the building. Lehman Brothers' €2.1bn top-of-the-market purchase of Coeur Défense, was expected to become Europe's largest distressed property sale. Due to falling property values, and the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, the transaction was under stress. The borrower who owns the building, Heart of La Défense, had placed itself under sauvegarde .

Tour Ève (previously known as Tour PH21) is an office and apartments skyscraper in Puteaux, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area.Built in 1974, this 109 m skyscraper belongs to the second generation of skyscrapers in La Défense. It is also the 4th tallest residential building in the business district, after the Tour Les Poissons, the Tour Défense 2000 and the Tour France.It contains 321 apartments and 7,000 m2 of offices.

Tour EDF is an office skyscraper located in La Défense, the high-rise business district west of Paris, France. The tower was built for Électricité de France (EDF), France's main electricity company, and hosts the company's offices. Tour EDF is 165 m (541 ft) tall. The skyscraper's ground shape is elliptical, with a maximum length of 70 m (230 ft) and a maximum width of 32 m (105 ft).

Tour Europlaza (previously known as tour Septentrion) is an office skyscraper located in La Défense business district situated west of Paris, [rance. Built in 1972, the 135-metre (443 ft) tower belongs to the second generation of skyscrapers in La Défense. The tower distinguishes itself from the other towers of that period, thanks to a less boxy design and an original cladding. The tower was originally named Septentrion because of its northern location in the business district (Septentrion means North in French). From 2019 on, the tower hosts the European Banking Authority which relocated from London following the Brexit.

Tour Franklin is an office skyscraper located in La Défense business district situated west of Paris, France. Built in 1972, the tower of 120 metres of height belongs to the second generation of skyscrapers in La Défense. Its design consists of the merger of a smaller tower in a larger one.

The Tour Carpe Diem is a 162-metre (531 ft) tall skyscraper in the La Défense business district, near Paris in France. The first stone was laid early 2011 by the main contractor BESIX and Spie Batignolles. Completed in 2013, it is located in the municipality of Courbevoie and contains offices.

Tour Blanche (previously known as Tour Aquitaine and as Tour Chartis) is an office skyscraper in Courbevoie, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area. Built in 1967 by the architectural firm Les Frères Arsène-Henry, it belongs to the first generation of La Défense towers: its height respects the previous standard height, which was 100 m.Partially renovated in 2004, it was renovated again from July 2012 to March 2014. Led by the Spie Batignolles, the site costs 41 million euros. It was renamed Tour Blanche in 2014. Enedis, the main operator of the electricity distribution network in France and a subsidiary of EDF, has occupied it since September 2014.
