Aorere College

Kedgley Intermediate School is an intermediate school (years 7–8) in Papatoetoe, a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand The school opened in February 1958 as Papatoetoe Intermediate School. Classes were held in part of Papatoetoe High School for the first year. After principal Maurice F. Kedgley died the school was renamed Kedgley Intermediate School in his memory in 1968, and Otara Intermediate School was renamed Papatoetoe Intermediate School.Teachers at Kedgley Intermediate have subject specialisations, such as science, social studies and physical education.

Crater Hill is one of the volcanoes of the Auckland volcanic field, in New Zealand. It consists of an explosion crater about 600 metres (2,000 ft) wide, partly filled with water. The hill, alongside Māngere Lagoon, Waitomokia, Kohuora, Pukaki Lagoon and Robertson Hill, is one of the volcanic features collectively referred to as Nga Tapuwae a Mataoho ("The Sacred Footprints of Mataoho"), referring to the deity in Tāmaki Māori myths who was involved in their creation.Late in the eruption sequence lava welled up inside the explosion crater creating a lava lake. This lake began cooling on the surface and around the edge, creating a solid basalt crust. When the molten lava withdrew back down the volcano's throat, the crust surface collapsed, creating the island in the middle of the present lake, and some of the solid basalt was left around the inside walls of the crater marking the former level of the lava lake. Two lava caves – Selfs and Underground Press Lava Caves – exist beneath the remnant crust on the south side of the crater. Quarrying has removed the small scoria cone in the crater and some of the tuff ring on the northeast side. The Southwestern Motorway was cut through the northeast crater rim and a small explosion crater.

Kohuora, located in the suburb of Papatoetoe, is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field in the North Island of New Zealand.

Cemetery Crater is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. It is an explosion crater roughly 200 metres (660 ft) wide, located east of Crater Hill. Hard to see even in early aerial photos due to its shallowness, it is now covered by housing. It was first recognised by Ernie Searle in the 1960s. He named it because of its proximity to the cemetery in Puhinui Rd, but the Southwestern Motorway has now been constructed between the crater and the cemetery.

De La Salle College is an integrated Catholic secondary boys' school in the south of Auckland, New Zealand. Māngere East or Mangere East is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, under the governance of Auckland Council. It is located to the south of Favona, north of Papatoetoe, west of Middlemore, east of Māngere and Māngere Bridge, and southwest of Ōtāhuhu. In 2019, the name of the suburb was officially gazetted as Māngere East.

Papatoetoe is a suburb in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the largest suburb in Auckland by population and is located to the northwest of Manukau Central, and 18 kilometres southeast of Auckland CBD. Papatoetoe has the unofficial title of Auckland's Little India, with 40 percent of the suburb's population being of Indian ethnicity according to the 2018 census.Papatoetoe is a Māori name, which can be loosely translated as 'undulating area where the toetoe is the predominant feature', making it named after the 'Prince of Wales' feather' (or toetoe / toi toi), which grew abundantly in the swampy parts of the region. Owing to some confusion over the spelling, the area was known as Papatoitoi for many years. Papatoetoe is the only suburb in South Auckland where Maori/Pacific Islanders do not form the majority of the suburb's population. Papatoetoe is one of the most rapidly gentrifying suburbs in Auckland.

Middlemore railway station is on the Southern Line and Eastern Line of the Auckland railway network in New Zealand. The station has side platforms on the northbound and southbound lines connected by a pedestrian level crossing at the south end of the platforms. Access to the station is via Hospital Road: it is next to Middlemore Hospital.

Middlemore Hospital is a major public hospital in the suburb of Ōtāhuhu, Auckland, New Zealand. The hospital has approximately 800 beds. There are 24 operating theatres across two sites.

Middlemore is a suburb of the former Manukau City, one of the four cities that made up the conurbation of Auckland, in northern New Zealand, until 2010. The suburb is located on flat land at the southern end of the Ōtāhuhu isthmus, at the end of an arm of the Tamaki River and 18 kilometres southeast of Auckland city centre. It is located on State Highway 1, and the North Island Main Trunk railway passes by the Middlemore Hospital. Middlemore's most well-known landmarks are Middlemore Hospital and the Auckland Golf Club course, which surrounds the hospital grounds. Adjacent to both the golf club and Otahuhu College is the private secondary school, King's College.

The lagoon, alongside Māngere Lagoon, Waitomokia, Crater Hill, Kohuora and Robertson Hill, is one of the volcanic features collectively referred to as Nga Tapuwae a Mataoho ("The Sacred Footprints of Mataoho"), referring to the deity in Tāmaki Māori myths who was involved in their creation.Pukaki Lagoon has a 600 m wide explosion crater, with a surrounding tuff ring. After an eruption about 65,000 yrs ago the crater filled with freshwater and became a lake. It was breached by the sea as sea-levels rose after the end of the last ice age about 8,000 yrs ago and became a tidal lagoon. This was dammed and drained and used as a speedway from 1929 into the 1930s (Henning's Speedway). It is now farmland.

The Swaminarayan Mandir in Auckland (Devnagari: श्री स्वमिनरयन मन्दिर, औक्क्लन्द) is the second Mandir (Temple) of the Swaminarayan Sampraday in New Zealand. The Mandir comes under the ISSO of the NarNarayan Dev Gadi.
