The Old Windmill is a heritage-listed tower mill in Observatory Park adjacent to Wickham Park at 226 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built in the 1820s by convict labour in the Moreton Bay penal settlement and is the oldest surviving building in Queensland. It is also known as Brisbane Observatory and Windmill Tower. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. Today it is the centrepiece of Observatory Park.

It was designed by Raymond C Nowland and built from 1938 to 1941 by the Queensland Department of Public Works. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 23 April 1999.

Jacob's Ladder is a landmark in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is a long pedestrian staircase that extends from Edward and Turbot Streets up to Wickham Terrace. The name is a reference to the Biblical stairway ascending to Heaven.

King Edward Park Air Raid Shelter is a heritage-listed former air raid shelter at 224 Turbot Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Frank Gibson Costello and built c. 1942 by Brisbane City Council. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 6 April 2005.

Suncorp Plaza is a high-rise building in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Suncorp Plaza, formerly known as the SGIO Building and Theatre, is located on the intersection of Albert and Turbot Streets. The building is opposite the Brisbane Dental Hospital (on the Turbot Street side). Suncorp Plaza is 118 metres (387 ft) tall and consists of 26 floors, dedicated to office space. The primary tenant of the building was Suncorp, until the company moved to the recently completed Brisbane Square building.The building was designed by architects Conrad & Gargett. Upon its completion in 1971, Suncorp Plaza was Brisbane's tallest building, however, it lost this position in 1973 and was one of tallest building in Brisbane. Suncorp Plaza features a 10-metre digital clock featuring the Suncorp logo, which is the highest clock in Australia. Prior to the placement of the clock, a rotating restaurant was located on the roof of the building.It was proposed that the building be demolished sometime in 2018/2019 to make way for a new tower. However, as of 2020, no work has begun on its demolition. The theatre, once the home of the Queensland Theatre Company, has already been demolished.

Albert Hall was a church hall and theatre from 1901 to 1969 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was on the north side of Albert Street between Ann Street and Turbot Street, to the left of Albert Street Methodist (now Uniting) Church (who owned the hall). Albert Hall was replaced by the SGIO / Suncorp Building. Although a church hall, its central city location led to a wider range of uses than a typical church hall.

The Sir William Glasgow Memorial is a heritage-listed statue of Sir William Glasgow in Post Office Square at 270 Queen Street, Brisbane CBD, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Daphne Mayo and built from 1961 to 1964. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 13 May 2004.Set on a granite plinth, the statue is a naturalistic bronze figure of Sir William Glasgow, wearing the uniform of an officer of the Australian Light Horse and holding a pair of field glasses. The statue was one of the last commissioned works of sculptor Daphne Mayo. It was commissioned in 1961 and completed in 1964. It was dedicated in a ceremony on Remembrance Day (11 November) 1966 by Sir Arthur Fadden (Australian Prime Minister in 1941).Originally, the statue stood on the Police Reserve at the corner of Ann Street and Roma Street, Brisbane on a sandstone plinth. In 1968, it was moved to a triangular reserve bounded by Albert Street, Roma Street and Turbot Street. In 2008, the statue was relocated to Post Office Square, facing ANZAC Square.

Resilience is a sculpture located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It honours the efforts of Queensland's men and women who worked to achieve women's suffrage in the state. The sculpture is located in Emma Miller Place, and was unveiled in 2007 to mark the first vote by women in an election in the State of Queensland in 1907, and the centenary of women's suffrage in Queensland in 2005. It was designed by Brazilian artist Cida de Aragon, in collaboration with Steffen Lehmann. The sculpture is an abstract work which uses text placed on an angle, and angled glass screens. The overall shape of the artwork resembles a cross, referencing the "X" a voter uses on a ballot paper. In 2008 Resilience was displayed at the Venice Biennale of Architecture.

Bryntirion is a heritage-listed detached house at 287 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by James Furnival for Edward Barton Southerden and built in 1861 with subsequent extensions. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 17 December 1993.
