Deep Cove, North Vancouver

The Dollarton area is a beach, slope and suburb in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one point five kilometres (0.93 mi) south of Deep Cove.

Belcarra is a village on the shore of Indian Arm, a side inlet of Burrard Inlet, and is part of Metro Vancouver. It lies northwest of Port Moody and immediately east of the Deep Cove area of North Vancouver, across the waters of Indian Arm. Isolated by geography on a narrow peninsula, Belcarra is accessible by a single winding paved road or by water. Before incorporation it was commonly known as Belcarra Bay. It is largely a residential bedroom community for Vancouver and its suburbs. Belcarra is one of the few communities in this area that is not growing substantially. While the small neighbouring Village of Anmore has grown and changed, Belcarra has remained a relatively small community. This is a result of small land area, relative inaccessibility, and zoning for single family residential homes. With a population of 687 as of 2021, it has one of the lowest populations of any independent settlement in the Vancouver area. Many residents in Belcarra have private docks and boats; even houses that are not on the water are sometimes able to procure a shared dock.

CBU-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts the programming of the CBC Music network in Vancouver, British Columbia. The station broadcasts at 105.7 FM. CBU-FM's transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour. The station was originally launched on December 12, 1947 as an FM simulcast of the CBC AM station CBR. It was rebranded as CBU-FM in 1952 when the Vancouver AM station was renamed. It was not part of the CBC's original FM network in 1960, but became part of the 1964 relaunch. The station operates from the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre at 700 Hamilton Street in Downtown Vancouver. As with most CBC Music stations, presently there is no Vancouver-specific programming on the station apart from short weather updates. However, Saturday Afternoon at the Opera and In Concert, both hosted by Bill Richardson, currently originate from Vancouver.

CBUFT-DT (channel 26) is an Ici Radio-Canada Télé station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which serves the province's Franco-Columbian population and Franco-Yukonnais in Yukon. It is part of a twinstick with CBC Television station CBUT-DT (channel 2). Both stations share studios at the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre on Hamilton Street in downtown Vancouver, while CBUFT-DT's transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour in the district municipality of North Vancouver.

The radio studios and offices are at Robson and Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver. CFBT has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 45,000 watts (90,000 watts peak, horizontal polarization only). The transmitter is on Mount Seymour in the District of North Vancouver.

It broadcasts with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts from a transmitter on Mount Seymour and airs an adult contemporary format. It is western Canada's oldest and one of the most-listened-to commercial FM stations in Vancouver along with sister station CFBT-FM. It is owned by Bell Media. CHQM's studio is located at 750 Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver. CHQM is now the largest adult contemporary station in Canada not locally owned, having overtaken from Montreal's CFQR-FM in February 2011 after that station switched ownership from Toronto's Corus Entertainment to Montreal's Cogeco. CHQM-FM is currently the most-listened-to radio station in Vancouver with a 12.4% share, according to BBM's Winter report. The station is carried on Shaw Direct channel 509, and also carried on Telus Optik TV channel 7025.

CKPK-FM (102.7 FM, 102.7 Now! Radio) is a radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia. Owned by Pattison Media, it broadcasts an adult contemporary format. Its studios are located on West 8th Avenue in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver, while its transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour. The station first signed on with an experimental license in 1923 as CFXC, and was renamed CJOR in 1926. It moved to its long-time home of 600 AM in 1930. CJOR operated as the Vancouver affiliate of the CBC's Dominion Network from 1944 through the network's closure in 1962. It was later acquired by Jim Pattison after the death of its previous owner George Clarke Chandler. In November 2008, after over 80 years as an AM station, the station—by then adult standards CKBD—moved to FM as adult album alternative (AAA) 100.5 The Peak. In 2012, the station moved once again to 102.7 FM. Ten years later in 2022, the rock format was moved to HD Radio in favour of its current format.

CFOX-FM (identified on air and in print as CFOX) is a Canadian radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It broadcasts on an assigned frequency of 99.3 MHz on the FM band with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts (peak). The transmitter is located on Mount Seymour in the District of North Vancouver, with studios located in Downtown Vancouver, in the TD Tower. The station is owned by Corus Entertainment. CFOX has a modern rock format, as it reports to Mediabase as a Canadian alternative rock station.
