Ghaniabad Rural District

Ghaniabad (Persian: غني اباد, also Romanized as Ghanīābād; also known as Ghanīābād-e Pā’īn and Khānīābād) is a village in, and the capital of, Ghaniabad Rural District of the Central District of Ray County, Tehran province, Iran.At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,754 in 441 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,558 people in 418 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,880 people in 551 households.

Eslamabad (Persian: اسلام آباد, also Romanized as Eslāmābād; also known as Ashrafābād) is a village in, and the capital of, Azimiyeh Rural District of the Central District of Ray County, Tehran province, Iran.At the 2006 National Census, its population was 10,763 in 2,350 households. The following census in 2011 counted 11,070 people in 2,804 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,999 people in 2,733 households.

The following census in 2011 counted 93,006 people in 26,069 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 84,577 inhabitants in 25,064 households.

The following census in 2011 counted 8,699 people in 2,416 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 8,756 people in 2,510 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Qaleh Now District. It was the largest village in its rural district.

Dowlat Abad Metro Station is the southern terminus of Tehran Metro Line 6. It is located next to Imam Ali Expressway.
