Daveys Bay is a small shallow bay of Port Phillip, located in Victoria, Australia. It is one of several small bays adjoining the town of Mount Eliza and is the closest region of the Shire of Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne. Daveys Bay is named after James Davey who built a jetty at the western end of the bay in the 1840s. Davey used the jetty to load his ketch with produce destined for the Melbourne markets. Davey's Bay Yacht Club, founded in 1909, is located at the jetty.The north-eastern shoreline of Daveys Bay features an exposure of the Manyung Fault, part of the main Selwyn Fault system.

Olivers Hill is a locality located in the City of Frankston, Victoria in Australia. It is the first major rise in terrain along the eastern coastline of Port Phillip, between Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. It was named after local Frankston fisherman, James Oliver, who built the first cottage atop the hill in the mid-19th century, from where he kept watch for fish in the waters below.It straddles the suburbs of Frankston and Frankston South, however its borders remain loosely defined. Property in the locality has sold for between A$3 and A$4 million in 2015, at the same time as the median house price in the suburb of Frankston being A$390,000.The hill is easily accessible from the Franskton Central Business District (just over 1 km to the north) by car and on foot via the Nepean Highway and from Cliff Road via Kars Street in Frankston South. It can also be reached by bus services 781, 784 and 785, departing from the Young Street public transport terminus in the Frankston CBD. Olivers Hill is also well known among Melbourne cyclists as being the halfway or turn around point for the 85 km ride from St Kilda along Beach Road, a famous Australian cycling route.

Frankston Park, known commercially as Kinetic Stadium, is a suburban Australian rules football ground located in Frankston, Victoria, in Australia. It is home to the Frankston Football Club, which plays in the Victorian Football League. Frankston Park is noted for the unusually long and narrow dimensions of its playing surface. It is also a rare example of a top municipal football ground which has, for most of its history, not been used for cricket during the summer months; in the early 1920s, the council determined that it preferred to leave the ground as a public space during summer and to not compromise the surface by installing cricket pitches; since that time, Jubilee Park has been the district's primary cricket venue.In 2008, the St Kilda Football Club had planned to move its primary training base from Moorabbin Oval to Frankston Park and to re-develop it into a top class training venue for the club; but these plans fell through due to high cost, and the club instead developed and moved to Belvedere Park in nearby Seaford.

The Frankston Arts Centre is a landmark theatre and art gallery in the outer Melbourne suburb of Frankston in Victoria, Australia. Frankston Hospital (officially Frankston Public Hospital) is a 454-bed public hospital located in the Melbourne suburb of Frankston in Victoria, Australia. It opened as the Frankston Community Hospital on 30 November 1941.It is the largest provider of general and speciality health care for Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula, and is the region's chief provider of acute secondary and tertiary medical and surgical services.The hospital has specialisations in mental health, maternity (midwifery) and pediatrics. It also has one of the busiest emergency departments in Victoria with 49 beds and around 63,000 presentations a year. The department was upgraded in 2015 at a cost of A$81 million.It is one of two hospitals in the Peninsula Health network, the second being Rosebud Hospital, which together support the network's smaller specialist campuses for community health, dentistry, physical and psychiatric rehabilitation, aged (elderly) and palliative care in Frankston, Hastings, Mornington, Mount Eliza and Rosebud.
