The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is India's national regulatory body for cosmetics , pharmaceuticals and medical devices. It serves a similar function to the European Medicines Agency of the European Union, the PMDA of Japan, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States, and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency of the United Kingdom, and the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China. The Indian government has announced its plan to bring all medical devices, including implants and contraceptives under a review of the Central Drugs and Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). Within the CDSCO, the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) regulates pharmaceutical and medical devices and is positioning within the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The DCGI is advised by the Drug Technical Advisory Board (DTAB) and the Drug Consultative Committee (DCC). Divided into zonal offices, each one carries out pre-licensing and post-licensing inspections, post-market surveillance, and drug recalls (where necessary). Manufacturers who deal with the authority required to name an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR) to represent them in all dealings with the CDSCO in India. Though the CDSCO has a good track record with the World Health Organization, it has also been accused of past collusion with independent medical experts and pharmaceutical companies. CDSCO plans to open an international office in Beijing, China.

Observer Research Foundation (ORF) is an independent global think tank based in Delhi, India. The foundation has three centres in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Mehdiyan is a historic Muslim cemetery located behind Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi. Several notable figures have been buried there, including Islamic scholar Shah Waliullah, his father Shah Abdur Rahim, Urdu poet Momin Khan Momin, and Indian freedom fighter and Islamic scholar Hifzur Rahman Seoharwi. The site is also home to the Madrasah-i Rahimiyah, established by Shah Abdur Rahim. The institution blended rational sciences and traditional Islamic sciences, and drew students "from far and wide."

Centre of Indian Trade Unions, CITU is a National level Trade Union in India and its trade union wing is a spearhead of the Indian Trade Union Movement. The Centre of Indian Trade Unions is today one of biggest assemblies of workers and classes of India. It has strong presence in the Indian state of Tripura besides a good presence in West Bengal, Kerala and Kanpur. They have an average presence in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. According to the provisional statistics from the Ministry of Labour, CITU had a membership of approximately 6,040,000 in 2015.Tapan Kumar Sen is the General Secretary and K. Hemalata is the president of CITU. Hemalata was the first woman president of CITU, who was elected after A. K. Padmanabhan. It runs a monthly organ named WORKING CLASS. CITU is affiliated to the World Federation of Trade Unions.

Tilak Bridge railway station is a railway station in New Delhi. Its code is TKJ. The station is part of the Delhi Suburban Railway. The station consists of four platforms. Construction of additional 5th and 6th new railway line is happening between Tilak Bridge and New Delhi to enhance capacity of already saturated tracks. With this, three additional platforms have been constructed (new platform 6 and 7 would be an island platform ) at Tilak Bridge. This will take the total number of platforms to seven. Tilak Bridge Station was constructed in 1924, after existing railway lines were re-aligned as a result of the construction of the new imperial capital. Originally named Hardinge Bridge after Hardinge Avenue, the main road to its south, the station acquired its present name in the 1960s after Hardinge Avenue was renamed Tilak Marg. The Tilak Bridge Railway Station in New Delhi is slated for a significant upgrade as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. This initiative, which is part of a broader plan to modernize 554 railway stations across India, is expected to cost approximately Rs 26.1 crore. The redevelopment project aims to enhance the station's infrastructure, including the façade, waiting room, and parking facilities, as well as introduce new amenities for passengers.

University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges. The headquarters are in New Delhi, and it has six regional centres in Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Bangalore. A proposal to replace it with another new regulatory body called HECI is under consideration by the Government of India. The UGC provides doctoral scholarships to all those who clear JRF in the National Eligibility Test. On an average, each year ₹725 crore (US$91 million) is spent on doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships by the commission.

Lok Nayak Hospital (Hindi: लोक नायक अस्पताल) formerly known as Irwin Hospital till November 1977 then changed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in the honor of Jayaprakash Narayan, the famous Indian independence activist and politician. It is maintained and runs under the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Delhi.

Nabha House was the former residence of the Raja of Nabha. It is located on Kasturba Gandhi Marg close to Mandi House. It passed into the possession of the state government of Haryana. In 2005, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala it was decided to transfer 1484.10 square metres of land falling in Nabha House to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for construction of the Mandi House metro station.In 2012 the state government announced to set up a cultural hub at Nabha House.

SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recognized as a regional apex trade body by South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation is a constellation of the eight national Federation Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the member states of SAARC. Triveni Kala Sangam is an important cultural and arts complex and education centre in New Delhi. Founded in 1950, by Sundari K. Shridharani, who was also its Founding Director, Triveni, as it is commonly referred, contains four art galleries, a chamber theatre, outdoor theatre, open air sculpture gallery, besides this it runs its various arts, music and dance classes. It is situated on Tansen Marg, between Mandi House roundabout and Bengali Market.
