Warbreck is a Liverpool City Council Ward in Liverpool, England. It contains the northern parts of the Walton and Orrell Park areas of Liverpool. The population of this ward taken at the 2011 census was 16,481. Its northern part also takes in the old rural district of Warbreck Moor together with the small residential area of Warbreck Park. There is also a "Warbreck" public house within the ward's boundaries situated on Orrell Lane.

Rice Lane railway station is a railway station in Liverpool, England, located to the north of the city centre in the Walton district. It is on the Kirkby branch of the Merseyrail network's Northern Line. The station was opened on 20 November 1848, and was known as Preston Road until 14 May 1984. It is located just to the north of Walton Junction, where the Kirkby and Ormskirk branches of the Northern line diverge; Walton (Merseyside) station on the Ormskirk line is close by (5 minutes away on foot along Hornby Road).

Orrell Park railway station is a railway station in Orrell Park, Liverpool, England. The station was opened in 1906 by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, and was originally named Orrell Park Halt; this was simplified to Orrell Park by British Rail. It is located to the north of the city centre. It also serves the nearby district of Orrell. It is on the Ormskirk branch of the Merseyrail network's Northern Line. Orrell Park is the most convenient station for the Walton Vale shopping area.

Walton on the Hill railway station was located on the Huskisson branch of the North Liverpool Extension Line at the junction of Rice Lane and Queens Drive in Walton, Liverpool, England. The station opened on 1 December 1879. It closed to passengers on 1 January 1918 but continued as a public goods station for a further fifty years, closing completely on 9 September 1968. The through tracks were not lifted until 1980.

Orrell Park is a district of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is a small residential area of northern Liverpool between the larger neighbouring districts of Aintree and Walton-on-the-Hill. It is part of the Liverpool Walton Parliamentary constituency. The area is built upon a raised hillock.

It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Walton, the archdeaconry of Liverpool and the diocese of Liverpool. Warbreck railway station was on the North Liverpool Extension Line to the south of Walton Vale, Liverpool, England.The purely passenger station opened on 1 August 1929 and closed on 7 November 1960. The through tracks were not lifted until 1980.
