Monmouth Golf Club is an 18-hole golf club based just outside Monmouth at Leasbrook Lane, near Dixton. The course is located on high ground to the east of the town with views of the Welsh hills, the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. The club claims to be one of the prettiest golf courses in Wales. Osbaston is a suburb of Monmouth, Wales, located less than 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the town centre. It was the site of one of the first public electricity generating stations in Britain, using water power from the River Monnow.

Great Manson Farm is a property on the northern outskirts of Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales, in the Buckholt area. It is in the Manson Lane neighbourhood, within the electoral division of Dixton with Osbaston. During the course of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, members of the Clarke, Goode, Clark, Dampier, and Morgan families resided at Great Manson Farm, at which time the reported size of the farm varied from 170 to 200 acres. The property is remarkable for the presence of three grade II listed buildings, including a barn with medieval origins.

Monmouth Cemetery is a cemetery located at Osbaston Road, Monmouth, Wales. It was available for burials between 1852 and 2012.

William Wilson Allen, VC (c. 1843 – 12 March 1890) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross (VC) for his actions at the Battle of Rorke's Drift in January 1879, the highest and most prestigious award for valour in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls is an independent school in Monmouth, Wales. The school was established by the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers in 1892, and continues to enjoy their support. It is part of a family of schools known as the Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools. Together with its brother school Monmouth School for Boys they collaborate for certain activities such as drama productions and certain Sixth Form courses. They also share a coeducational nursery, Agincourt School. The girls' school consists of Inglefield House (ages 7–11) and the Senior School. The Good Schools Guide described the school as a "friendly school that produces feisty young women" and noted its "diverse extra-curricular education".

Monnow Mill is a former watermill on the river Monnow in Osbaston on the Osbaston road in Monmouth, Wales. The building is now a private house. The mill was once known as Queens Mills. The building has been a Grade II Listed since 1974.

The Cottage Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty Bwthyn, Trefynwy) was a community hospital on the Hereford Road in Monmouth, Wales.

The County Gaol, situated in North Parade, Monmouth, Wales, was Monmouthshire's main prison when it was opened in 1790. It served as the county jail of Monmouthshire and criminals or those who fell foul of the authorities were hanged here until the 1850s and some 3,000 people viewed the last hanging. The jail covered an area of about an acre, with a chapel, infirmary, living quarters and a treadmill. It was closed in 1869. In 1884 most of the building was demolished, and today nothing remains but the gatehouse which is a Grade II listed building. Within the gatehouse, there exists "a representation in coloured glass of the complete original buildings". It is one of 24 buildings on the Monmouth Heritage Trail.

North Parade House, in Monmouth Wales, dates from the late 18th century, and was refurbished in c.1800 by a wool merchant who took over the malthouse next door as a wool store, along with the cottages further up the street as housing for his workers. It has been a grade II listed building since 27 October 1965.

The Inglis Bridge, Monmouth, Wales crosses the River Monnow linking Vauxhall Fields and the suburb of Osbaston. Designed by, and named after, Charles Inglis, the bridge was constructed in 1931 and refurbished in 1988. It is a Mark II model of an Inglis bridge, and the only known example in Britain of such a bridge still in public use. Access is now limited to pedestrians, vehicular use being prohibited in 2018 on safety grounds. The bridge is a Grade II listed structure.
