Monmouth County Gaol

The Cottage Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty Bwthyn, Trefynwy) was a community hospital on the Hereford Road in Monmouth, Wales.

North Parade House, in Monmouth Wales, dates from the late 18th century, and was refurbished in c.1800 by a wool merchant who took over the malthouse next door as a wool store, along with the cottages further up the street as housing for his workers. It has been a grade II listed building since 27 October 1965.

Chapel House, Hereford Road, Monmouth, Wales, is a Georgian townhouse, built in the early eighteenth century, described by the architectural historian John Newman, as "the best house in the entire street". The house was designated a Grade II* listed building on 27 June 1952. Chapel House is now a boarding house of Monmouth School.

Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls is an independent school in Monmouth, Wales. The school was established by the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers in 1892, and continues to enjoy their support. It is part of a family of schools known as the Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools. Together with its brother school Monmouth School for Boys they collaborate for certain activities such as drama productions and certain Sixth Form courses. They also share a coeducational nursery, Agincourt School. The girls' school consists of Inglefield House (ages 7–11) and the Senior School. The Good Schools Guide described the school as a "friendly school that produces feisty young women" and noted its "diverse extra-curricular education".

The Inglis Bridge, Monmouth, Wales crosses the River Monnow linking Vauxhall Fields and the suburb of Osbaston. Designed by, and named after, Charles Inglis, the bridge was constructed in 1931 and refurbished in 1988. It is a Mark II model of an Inglis bridge, and the only known example in Britain of such a bridge still in public use. Access is now limited to pedestrians, vehicular use being prohibited in 2018 on safety grounds. The bridge is a Grade II listed structure.

Parade House, is a Grade II listed building in Monk Street, Monmouth, Wales. The building is 18th-century in origin and has three storeys, gothicised windows, an ornate staircase and a hipped roof.

The Masonic Hall is a grade II listed building on Monk Street in Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales. It was designed by architect George Vaughan Maddox. The building is believed to mark the site of Monk's Gate, part of the original defences of the town of Monmouth. Before its 1846 conversion to the Masonic Hall, the building served as the Monk Street Theatre. After more than 150 years of housing the Loyal Monmouth Lodge No. 457, the Masonic Hall sustained fire and smoke damage from suspected arson. The Lodge of Freemasons housed in the building is the oldest surviving Masonic Lodge in Monmouthshire.

William Wilson Allen, VC (c. 1843 – 12 March 1890) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross (VC) for his actions at the Battle of Rorke's Drift in January 1879, the highest and most prestigious award for valour in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Monnow Mill is a former watermill on the river Monnow in Osbaston on the Osbaston road in Monmouth, Wales. The building is now a private house. The mill was once known as Queens Mills. The building has been a Grade II Listed since 1974.

Monmouth Cemetery is a cemetery located at Osbaston Road, Monmouth, Wales. It was available for burials between 1852 and 2012.

Monmouth (Welsh: Mynwy) is a constituency of the Senedd. It elects one Member of the Senedd by the first past the post method of election. It is also one of eight constituencies in the South Wales East electoral region, which elects four additional members, in addition to eight constituency members, to produce a degree of proportional representation for the region as a whole.
