Lahser High School

The Roeper School is a private coeducational day school with campuses in Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in Greater Detroit, serving students at all levels from preschool through the 12th grade. It was formerly known as Roeper City and Country School.

The Gregor S. and Elizabeth B. Affleck House, also known as the Affleck House, is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed Usonian home in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, in Metro Detroit. It is one of only about 25 pre-World War II Usonians to be built. It is owned by Lawrence Technological University. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 3, 1985.

The H. Augustus and Agnes Cleveland O'Dell House, also known as the Inch House, is a single family home located at 1945 Tiverton Road in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The house was designed by architect H. Augustus O'Dell for his personal use, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Bloomfield Hills is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. An affluent northern suburb of Detroit on the Woodward Corridor, Bloomfield Hills is located roughly 20 miles (32.2 km) northwest of downtown Detroit, and is surrounded on most sides by Bloomfield Township. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 4,460.

Bloomfield Hills High School (BHHS) is a public high school in Bloomfield Township, Michigan, United States. It is the sole comprehensive high school of the Bloomfield Hills School District and was established in 2013, when the district merged Andover and Lahser High Schools.

Andover High School was a public high school in Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan, near Bloomfield Hills and in Greater Detroit. It was a part of the Bloomfield Hills School District. The school's final principal was Rob Durecka. The school teams were known as the Andover Barons.In 2010, the decision was made to merge Andover and Lahser High schools and build a single high school on the current Andover property.In 2013 it was merged into Bloomfield Hills High School, which is located on the former Andover campus. The new combined high school opened in the fall of 2015.

WBFH, also known as The Biff, is a community radio station that has operated out of Bloomfield Hills High School (formerly Andover High School and since 2013, also merged with Lahser High School) in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan since October 1, 1976. WBFH now has new studios in a highly visible area off the Commons and Main Street. The new studios have one on air room (Studio A), three production studios (Studios B, C and D), a work room and a storage room. WBFH broadcasts with 360 watts of power at 88.1 MHz on the FM dial. The signal is directional and can be heard throughout mid-Oakland County. For a period until October 16, 2016, the station was simulcast on 89.5 FM, WAHS, owned by the Avondale School District. The two stations have since resumed separate programming. WBFH is licensed to the Bloomfield Hills School District and is open to all high school students. Students who want to be on the radio station must first take the prerequisite class entitled Exploring Electronic Media which is a one-semester class. After that, they can apply to be on the WBFH Staff. Due to time and space limitations, not all applicants are selected to be on the Staff. WBFH was run by General Manager/Electronic Media Teacher Pete Bowers who supervised the station and taught the electronic media/radio classes since its inception in 1976. Bowers retired in June, 2017. He was inducted into the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame August 13, 2018. The other management team member is Manager/Technical Director/Program Director Ron Wittebols who took over that position in January, 2013 but has a long relationship with the station. WBFH is on the air with live shows from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. school calendar days and 24/7/365 via the DADPro 32 automation system. The students use Adobe Audition for audio editing. Listeners can listen to WBFH online on the station's website www.wbfh.fm, on the Biff Radio app, the High School Radio app and the TuneIn app. WBFH is one of only a few high school radio stations with their own app. WBFH has been named the High School Station of the Year in the State of Michigan by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation ten times: 2003, 2004*, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011*, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

Cranbrook Schools is a private PK–12 educational institution located on a 319-acre (129 ha) campus in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. It includes a co-educational elementary school, a middle school with separate schools for boys and girls, and a co-educational college-preparatory high school with boarding facilities. Cranbrook Schools is part of the Cranbrook Educational Community (CEC), which includes the Cranbrook Institute of Science, the Cranbrook Academy of Art, and Cranbrook House and Gardens. Christ Church Cranbrook is also on campus. The Cranbrook community was established by publishing mogul George Booth, who bought the site of today's Cranbrook community in 1904. Cranbrook was designated a National Historic Landmark on June 29, 1989, for its significant architecture and design. It attracts tourists from around the world. Approximately 40 acres (160,000 m2) of Cranbrook Schools' campus are gardens. As of 2023, Cranbrook Schools had an endowment of $217 million, among the fifteen largest held by America's boarding schools. In addition, the Cranbrook Educational Community, of which the schools is a member, had an endowment in excess of $300 million in 2007.As of 2021 it had 1,656 students, making it Michigan's largest private school by enrollment in a single campus.

The Melvyn Maxwell Smith and Sara Stein Smith House, also known as MyHaven, is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed Usonian home that was constructed in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1949 and 1950. The owners were two public school teachers living on a tight budget. The 1957 landscape design is by Thomas Dolliver Church. The home is now on the National Register of Historic Places.

Pontiac East Assembly (also known as Pontiac Assembly Center and GMC Truck & Coach Division Plant 6) was a General Motors manufacturing facility located in Pontiac, Michigan. The manufacturing complex at 2100 South Opdyke Road occupied a rectangular 162-acre site directly east of the GM Pontiac Centerpoint Complex. Hourly workers were represented by UAW Local 594. The plant closed in 2009 and was demolished in 2011.
