The Union Trust Building is a commercial building in Seattle, Washington, United States. Located in the city's Pioneer Square neighborhood, on the corner of Main Street and Occidental Way South (Occidental Mall), it was one of the first rehabilitated buildings in the neighborhood, which is now officially a historic district. In the 1960s, when Pioneer Square was better known as "Skid Road", architect Ralph Anderson purchased the building from investor Sam Israel for $50,000 and set about remodeling it, a project that set a pattern for the next several decades of development in the neighborhood. Anderson also rehabilitated the adjacent Union Trust Annex.

The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia, also known as the Episcopal Church in Western Washington, is a diocese of the Episcopal Church in Washington state west of the Cascade Range. It is one of 17 dioceses and an area mission that make up Province 8. The diocese started as a missionary district in 1853 and was formally established in 1910. It comprises 25,490 members in 92 congregations. The name of the diocese refers to the region of "Olympia" and is not related to the state capital Olympia. The see city is Seattle, with St. Mark's, Seattle the cathedral church of the diocese. The diocese is led by the Right Reverend Greg Rickel, the 8th Bishop of Olympia.

Fallen Firefighters Memorial is a bronze sculpture group by Hai Ying Wu.It is located in Occidental Park, Seattle, near the intersection of Occidental Avenue and Main Street. It was inspired by the deaths of four Seattle firefighters who died January 5, 1995 fighting a fire in the Mary Pang warehouse in Seattle's International District.

Waterfall Garden Park, also called UPS Park and UPS Waterfall Park, is a private 60-by-80-foot (18 m × 24 m) pocket park in Seattle, Washington, created in 1978 at the original United Parcel Service building in Pioneer Square. It is open to the public during the day and closed at night. The park was designed by Masao Kinoshita with Sasaki Associates and funded by Annie E. Casey Foundation to commemorate UPS's founder, James Casey. The park is named for a manmade 22-foot (6.7 m) tall waterfall over which is pumped 5,000 US gallons (19,000 l) of water per minute. It is described as "one of the most expensive parks per square foot ever built in the United States". Roger Sale says in the guidebook Seeing Seattle that the park is locked at night to keep out the sizeable Pioneer Square homeless population.The park's Japanese garden includes Chamaecyparis obtusa and other botanicals native to Japan, and a pool designed by Yoshikuni Araki. The garden won the Environmental Award of the American Nurserymens Association in 1981.

The Iron Horse was a hamburger restaurant in Seattle, Washington, established in 1971 by Charlie Maslow. Located in Pioneer Square, food orders at the restaurant were delivered by model trains which moved along a track that circled the dining area. The Iron Horse closed in 2000, its then-owners citing increasing rents created by the dot com boom, combined with a loss of event business occasioned by the demolition of the Kingdome, as reasons for its shuttering.After the closure of the Iron Horse, the subsequent closing of another train-themed Seattle restaurant – Andy's Diner – prompted the Seattle Weekly's Mike Seely to eulogize that in "the sweet hereafter ... the Big Engineer in the sky makes a choice between Andy's and the Iron Horse".The restaurant was located at 311 3rd Avenue South, near the King Street Station.

Salumi is a salumeria and restaurant in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of downtown Seattle, Washington.Salumi was founded by Armandino Batali, the father of New York chef Mario Batali, and as of 2006 was run as a family business with his wife, daughter Gina Batali, and son-in-law Brian D'Amato owning and operating.In the episode "Pacific Northwest" of the show Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations on the Travel Channel, chef and host Anthony Bourdain visited and dined in Salumi. In the segment, Bourdain participated in the process of curing meat and showed Armandino's sister making gnocchi in the front window. The show also mentioned and displayed the frequent long line in this restaurant.Salumi was also featured on Travel Channel's Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America. Adam Richman met with Gina Batali, Mario's sister, and sampled the Oxtail sandwich, which is only featured at the restaurant a few times a year.In 2017, Salumi was sold to Grant Peak Capital, a search fund owned by Clara Veniard and Martinique Grigg. Gina Batali and Brian D'Amato retain a minority equity stake in the business.In 2018, Salumi announced plans to build a new production facility to support regional and national distribution.
