The Firestone Building is a historic building constructed in 1929 in downtown Orlando. It was designed by Tampa architectural firm Francis J. Kennard & Son. Located at 578 North Orange Avenue, it was built for Harvey Firestone's Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. It was used by the company until the late 1977 and then rented out. Recently it has housed a namesake club.A schematic of the building was included in a 1933 edition of Arc-welded steel frame structures. In 1989, the Firestone Building was included in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press. A Firestone sign atop the building was removed in 1999.

Lynx Central Station is an intermodal transit station in Orlando, Florida. It serves the Lynx bus system and SunRail commuter rail, and is home to Lynx's administrative offices. It is located near the federal and Orange County Courthouse, the Amway Center and FAMU College of Law. Additionally it provides access to downtown Orlando's businesses, shopping, entertainment and recreational venues.

Trinity Lutheran School is a Lutheran Child Development Center in Orlando, Florida, in the United States. Founded in 1953, the school provides childcare services from infancy through PreK-4, and is a ministry of Trinity Downtown. It is a fully accredited school recognized by the National Lutheran School Accreditation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.Trinity's Child Development Center serves children 6 weeks old through VPK-4.

Bob Carr Theater (originally the Orlando Municipal Auditorium and formerly the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre) is an auditorium located in Orlando, Florida. Opening in 1927, the venue is currently owned by the City of Orlando and is managed by Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. In 2015, the site was integrated into the Creative Village Development plan, facing major renovations in 2018.

The John N. Huttig Estate is a historic home in Orlando, Florida. It was located at 435 Peachtree Road. On January 21, 1993, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The home was designed by architect James Gamble Rogers II and completed in 1935.

St. James Cathedral is a parish church and the seat of the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Orlando, John Noonan. The cathedral's patron saint is James, son of Zebedee, one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, and traditionally considered the first apostle to be martyred. The scallop shell has long been the symbol associated with St. James, and the cathedral uses it as its primary symbol. The parish operates St. James Cathedral School on nearby Robinson Street which offers classes from pre-school through eighth grade.

The Diocese of Orlando (Latin: Dioecesis Orlandensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Florida. It encompasses about 9,611 square miles (24,890 km2) spanning Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Marion, Lake, Volusia, Brevard, Polk, and Sumter Counties in the state of Florida. In 2010, the diocese contained 81 parishes, 10 missions, and 37 schools. St. James Cathedral serves as the seat of the diocese. Within the diocese are two minor basilicas, Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine, a basilica which ministers to Catholic tourists, and St. Paul's in Daytona Beach. In 2011, the estimated population was about 400,923 Catholics. There are 208 priests, 87 religious nuns, and 181 permanent deacons. Twenty-six men are studying for the priesthood.The current bishop is John Gerard Noonan. He took over effective October 24, 2010, having served previously as an Auxiliary Bishop of Miami, after the previous Bishop of Orlando, Thomas Wenski, was ordained to Archbishop of Miami. The Diocese of Orlando is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Miami.

Lake Dot or is a 5.42-acre (21,900 m2) natural freshwater lake located in central Orlando, Florida. Lake Dot, a nearly round lake, is in the Lake Dot neighborhood of the city. It is in a completely urbanized area with homes and businesses surrounding it. A fountain is near the center of this lake. The north side of the lake is bounded by Colonial Drive, a very busy thoroughfare. It appears a small portion of the lake was filled in to allow Colonial to run in a straight line. On the south is Concord Street and on the east and west sides, Lake Dot is bordered by Lake Dot Circle. Lake Dot is surrounded by Lake Dot Park, a thin strip of public land between the lake's edge and the surrounding roads. This strip is wider along the south. While this park is noted in maps of the city of Orlando, it not noted as an official park. There is no information about the types of fish in this lake. There is no swimming or boating allowed at this lake.

Park Lake is an almost round 8.8-acre (36,000 m2) freshwater lake located within Orlando, Florida. This lake is in a residential area. Fishing, walking and using the playground at Park Lake Park are available activities. Neither swimming or boating are allowed. Sidewalks along streets traverse about three-fourths of Park Lake. Colonial Drive, one of the major roads running through Orlando, passes along the lake's south side. Park Lake Park is on the west side of the lake. A fountain is in the middle of the lake. Park Lake Presbyterian Church is on the lake's southwest corner.

The Vue at Lake Eola is a residential skyscraper in Downtown Orlando. It is the third tallest building in the city, being only two feet shorter than Hyatt Regency Orlando and 15 feet (4.6 m) shorter than 200 South Orange. It houses 34 floors of condos and has penthouses on its top level. The penthouses have access to the balcony on the 36th floor roof of the building.

The University of Central Florida Center for Emerging Media (CEM) is located in downtown Orlando.The Center supports many upper-level undergraduate and graduate programs in film, digital media, video game development, art and architecture. The facility also features one of the largest motion-capture studios on the East Coast, an adjacent sound stage, production offices and editing suites. Collectively known as Studio 500—a play on the building’s 500 W. Livingston St. location—these production facilities have attracted a steady stream of entertainment companies from around the world and annually host about 10-15 UCF student film shoots.

The Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA) is a graduate school of the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Central Florida located in Orlando, Florida, United States. The director of the school is Ben Noel, former vice president and chief operating officer of EA's Orlando-based Tiburon studio.FIEA is a graduate video game development school offering an accredited master's degree in interactive entertainment. Areas of study include game design, art, programming and production. The Academy is located at UCF's Center For Emerging Media, which also houses other graduate and undergraduate programs in art, architecture, digital media, and film. FIEA was established in 2004 by UCF's School of Film and Digital Media and industry partners, and accepted its first class of students in Fall of 2005. The site of FIEA was formerly the downtown Expo Centre until late 2004 when the city of Orlando leased the building to the University. The building is now called the UCF Center For Emerging Media.
