St John the Evangelist's Church, Toft

Toft is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is located immediately to the south of Knutsford and is split by the A50 road to more southern Holmes Chapel. The village comprises several farms and a small picturesque church. The parish has a population of only 81, and shares a parish council with the neighbouring parishes of Plumley and Bexton. At the 2011 Census the population of the civil parish remained less than 100. Toft Hall is a 17th-century country house in Toft, Cheshire, England to which additions and alterations have been made during the following three centuries. It is constructed in brick, which has been rendered, with stone dressings and a slate roof. It is in two storeys, and has four-storey towers. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Its stable block is listed separately at Grade II.Features of the estate include an arched stone bridge, a ha-ha, a woodland garden and parkland.

River Lily is a small stream that flows through Knutsford, England. It has been claimed that it is the smallest river in Europe. It enters Tatton Mere by running under an unmade road.

Booth Park is a cricket ground in Chelford Road, Toft, Cheshire. The ground lies within the grounds of Booths Park, which surrounds the east and south of the ground, while the western side is bordered by residential housing. The ground is used by Toft Cricket Club.

Brook Street Chapel, is in the town of Knutsford, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The chapel was built in soon after the passing of the Toleration Act 1688. It is built in red brick with a stone-flagged roof in two storeys with two external staircases. Inside is a gallery on three sides and a pulpit on a long wall. The pulpit dates from the late 17th or early 18th century and the pews from 1859.It is the burial place of the novelist Mrs Gaskell who died in 1865, her husband William Gaskell who died in 1884, and their two unmarried daughters who died in 1908 and 1913.It is still in use as a Unitarian chapel.

Bexton Hall is a country house in the village of Bexton to the southwest of Knutsford, Cheshire, England. It is a square, symmetrical house of five bays, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed in brick, with slate roofs, and has two storeys plus a basement. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is the only listed building in Bexton parish. The forecourt walls are included in the listing. The house originally had a cupola, but this is no longer present.

It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, in the deanery of Knutsford, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield, and the diocese of Chester. It is an active Anglican parish church, with two services every Sunday, a midweek Eucharist each Wednesday, and Morning Prayer most weekdays. The Parish Electoral Roll is 140, and about sixty people attend Sunday morning services.

The former Governor's House is located in Toft Road, Knutsford, Cheshire, England. It was built for the governor of Knutsford Gaol, and has later been used as a Tourist Information Centre. It was built in 1844 and designed by the Lancaster architect Edmund Sharpe. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The house is constructed in red brick in Georgian style. It served as the central offices for the Knutsford Urban District Council, and then for Knutsford Town Council which have been located there since the council formed in 1974.

The Sessions House is a judicial structure in Toft Road, Knutsford, Cheshire, England. The structure, which used to be the main courthouse for the eastern part of the county of Cheshire, is a Grade II* listed building.
