North Grant Boulevard Historic District

Washington High School of Information Technology is a magnet high school located in the Sherman Park neighborhood on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It is one of the oldest schools in the Milwaukee Public Schools system, and was founded in 1911. In September 2005 Washington was divided into three "schools within a school," which are divided among the school's four floors. These are the School of Law, Education, and Public Service; Washington High School of Expeditionary Learning; and Washington High School of Information Technology. In June 2010, LEAPS closed and was combined with EL and renamed Washington High School. The Washington High School of Information Technology, which continues the legacy of the Career Specialty Program begun in 1976, has continued to operate. In June 2011 the combined LEAPS and EL school was closed and merged into Washington High School of Information Technology, thus creating a single school again.

Sherman Park is a neighborhood, located on the northwest side of Milwaukee. It contains the neighborhoods of Grasslyn Manor, Sunset Heights, Roosevelt Grove, St. Joseph's and Uptown neighborhood.

The North Sherman Boulevard Historic District is a largely intact neighborhood of stylish homes built from 1907 to 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Steuben Monument is a public art work by Swiss-American artist J. Otto Schweizer, located on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bronze equestrian sculpture depicts Baron Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben in his Revolutionary War uniform. It is located at the intersection of West Lisbon Avenue, Lloyd Street, and North Sherman Boulevard.

Uptown Triangles is a public artwork by artist John Adduci, located on the corner of N. 48th St. and W. Lisbon Ave. which is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. The work is a monumental sculpture in the form of intersecting triangles made of aluminum. It is 20 feet tall, 12 feet in width and 10 feet in depth and sits on a concrete foundation. The piece was created in 2009 and is owned by the Uptown Crossing Business Improvement District BID 16.

Uptown Theatre was a 1,818-seat theatre located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was built by the Chicago architectural firm Rapp and Rapp and opened in 1926 or 1927. The theatre closed in 1980 and was demolished in 2001.

Sherman Phoenix is a shopping mall in the northwest side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It opened in 2018 after civil unrest in the city caused local leaders to collaborate and find a way to create a more "inclusive economy." The building was built out of a BMO Harris Bank building that had been burned during the city's unrest. The building features a mural by Detroit artist Sydney James, partially funded by Gener8tor, the startup accelerator. Black entrepreneurs across the country have been inspired by the mall. It struggled through its first years due to closures from the Covid-19 pandemic, but was able to survive through takeout orders and additional fundraising.The mall is located at 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave.

Washington Park (1900) originally called West Park is a park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the United States. From 1892–1958 the park was home to the Milwaukee County Zoo. It is one of the oldest parks in Milwaukee and it was added to the Wisconsin Architecture and History Inventory in 2019.

WNOV ("860 AM") is a community-oriented urban contemporary radio station located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. WNOV is the only station owned by Courier Communications, but on January 18, 2008 it was leased to a new company called Radio Multi-Media, which took over operations. As of January 24, 2012, the AM and FM translator went silent. WNOV later returned on the air in May 2012, broadcasting an urban contemporary format.

Vennture Brew Company is a microbrewery and coffee shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, that opened in 2018. Vennture was created by three photographers who turned their hobby projects in coffee and beer into a successful business; in 2022, Yelp listed them as the best brewery in the state of Wisconsin. Headquartered in a former hardware store, they are known for their "The Heights" saison. It is one of a small minority of US breweries that are partly or wholly Black-owned.

The Martin Drive neighborhood of Milwaukee is a residential district on the west side of the city. It is named for the local 19th-century politician Morgan Lewis Martin. Housing development started in the 1920s around two breweries. The area has benefited from local improvement programs and community activities since the 1990s.

Trostville, Wisconsin (also called Trost Corner or Trost's Corner) was a rural hamlet and post office address around the junction of Lisbon Plank Road (now Lisbon Avenue), South Fond du Lac Avenue (now Appleton Avenue), and Center Street, in Sections 14 and 15 of what was then the Town of Wauwatosa in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, in the late 19th and very early 20th century. It was the site of a post office from 1892–1898.; as of 1895–1898, the post office was serviced three times a week. The postmaster was John Trost.Trostville continued to be shown on a 1903 map (as "Trost's Corner"), but is now part of the City of Milwaukee.
