Utoy Creek

Laurus Technical Institute was an American for-profit technical college with three locations in Georgia. Founded in 1986 as ETI Careers Institute, the school offered travel and tourism programs. It became accredited in 1991. In 2007, the school changed its name to Laurus Technical Institute and began offering programs in the allied health and allied trade programs. CEO Terry Hess closed the school without notice in March 2015.

Superman: Ultimate Flight is the name of three flying roller coasters currently operating at three Six Flags amusement parks in the United States, those being Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Great America. Each of these steel coasters were designed and built by Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard and opened in 2002 and 2003. Since 2003, Six Flags has installed Superman: Ultimate Flight in three of their parks. Themed to the popular comic book character, Superman: Ultimate Flight simulates flying by positioning its passengers parallel to the track, supported by harnesses and facing the ground through most of the ride. In the station, riders board the train sitting down. After the train is locked and checked, the trains are raised into the flying position. After the ride, the seats are lowered back into the sitting position for the next round of riders.

Great American Scream Machine (GASM) is a wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, United States. Manufactured by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, the ride opened in 1973 as the tallest, longest, and fastest roller coaster in the world. Often shortened to GASM, the 105-foot-tall (32 m) ride reaches a maximum speed of 57 mph (92 km/h). At the time of opening, early riders were given a "Red Badge of Courage" button for riding the coaster. On May 21, 2017, Great American Scream Machine received an ACE landmark designation from American Coaster Enthusiasts, recognized for becoming the first wooden coaster built by Six Flags and for being well maintained.

The Cascade Mansion is the name of an antebellum home built in south west Atlanta, Georgia, south of the Sandtown (Now Cascade Road) built by Dr. William Poole and Elizabeth Gilbert Poole, son in law of the first physician Dr. William Gilbert in Fulton County, Georgia. The home was begun in construction in 1860 and was incorrectly identified by soldiers of the US XXIII Army Corps during the siege of Atlanta as the "Head House." The home served briefly as the Headquarters of Confederate Major General William B. Bate, attached to S.D Lee's Corps during the Battle of Utoy Creek, August 1–7, 1864. The home and grounds served as a US Army Hospital during the Siege of Atlanta for the XXIII and later XIV Corps in August 1864. The home is of the antebellum style on the former East Point Road (now Dodson Drive SW) in Atlanta. The interior was finished in the Victorian style in 1869–70. The property was purchased by Ms. Dixie Stevens proponent of Arts in Atlanta and the "Save the Fox Theater" and historical preservation in Atlanta.

Blue Hawk is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia. Designed by Vekoma, Blue Hawk was originally built for Conko's Party Pier in New Jersey, where it was known as Kamikaze. It was relocated to Six Flags Over Georgia in 1992 as Ninja, and was the tallest roller coaster in the park at that time. In 2016, Six Flags announced that the ride would be renovated and renamed, with members of the public voting on the ride's new name.

The Dahlonega Mine Train is a mine train roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, 12 miles (19 km) west of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The ride has three lift hills with brief elements between each that wind through a wooded, hilly landscape. This is a family coaster that is named after Dahlonega, Georgia, a village in northern Georgia that was a center of the gold rush of 1828, the first gold rush in the United States of America.

The Riverview Carousel at Six Flags Over Georgia is an antique carousel in Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia.: 3  It was built in 1908 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company (PTC) as Carousel No. 17 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.: 2–4  It contains four wood-carved chariots and 69 wood-carved carousel horses arranged in five rows around the carousel's center.: 3  The Riverview Carousel is one of only four 5-row carousels built by PTC and one of only two that survive, the other being the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel (PTC No. 46) in Magic Kingdom within Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida.: 13 

The Joker Funhouse Coaster is a Chance Rides steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The coaster is designed for families and children. It is located in the new kids' themed area, "DC Super Friends", that replaced parts of the former "Bugs Bunny World". In September 2015, the park announced two new kids' areas to replace the former one. Since Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster was a part of the old area, it was re-themed in 2016 to fit the area of the DC Comics universe.

Six Flags Over Georgia is a 290-acre (1.2 km2) theme park located in Austell. Opened in 1967, it is the second park in the Six Flags chain following the original Six Flags Over Texas, which opened in 1961. Six Flags Over Georgia is one of three parks in the Six Flags chain to have been founded by Angus G. Wynne. As with other Six Flags parks, it features themes from the Warner Bros. Entertainment library, including characters from Looney Tunes and DC Comics.

Twisted Cyclone, formerly known as Georgia Cyclone, is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia. Manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), the ride opened to the public on May 25, 2018. It features RMC's patented I-Box Track technology and utilizes a significant portion of Georgia Cyclone's former support structure. Originally constructed by the Dinn Corporation, Georgia Cyclone first opened on March 3, 1990.

The Great Gasp was a 225-foot-tall (69 m) Intamin Paratower, a "Parachute Drop" ride, that towered over Six Flags Over Georgia for almost 30 years. It became a beacon for the park during this time. The ride was dismantled and removed from the park in 2005.

Goliath is a steel roller coaster located at the Six Flags Over Georgia amusement park in Cobb County, Georgia. The Hyper Coaster model manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard climbs to a height of 200 feet (61 m) and reaches a maximum speed of 70 mph (110 km/h). Prior to its construction, the Great Gasp and Looping Starship attractions were removed to make room for Goliath, which opened to the public on April 1, 2006. It ranked as the fourth-best new ride of 2006 in the annual Golden Ticket Awards publication from Amusement Today and the ninth-best steel roller coaster overall, with its peak ranking of fourth occurring in 2009 and 2011.
