The Museum of The Little Prince in Hakone (星の王子さまミュージアム, Hoshi no Ōjisama Myūjiamu) (French: Musée du Petit Prince de Saint-Exupéry à Hakone) was a museum in Sengokuhara, Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan dedicated to the character in the story The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The museum was opened on June 29, 1999 as part of a worldwide commemorative project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Saint-Exupéry’s birth and closed down permanently on April 1, 2023. In a statement made by the museum, the lack of visitors due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the deterioration of the buildings presented as the reasons for the closure.

Ōwakudani Station (大涌谷駅, Ōwakudani-eki) is a station on the Hakone Ropeway in the town of Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan. It is 1.5 kilometers (0.93 mi) from the Hakone Ropeway's terminus at Sōunzan Station, 2.5 kilometers (1.6 mi) from the Hakone Ropeway's opposing terminus at Tōgendai Station. It is located at an altitude of 1,044 meters (3,425 ft) in the Ōwakudani area of Hakone.

The Hakone Ropeway (箱根ロープウェイ, Hakone Rōpuwei) is the name of an aerial lift, as well as its operator. The funitel line links between Sōunzan and Tōgendai via Ōwakudani, all within Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan. The line became funitel in 2002, the second of its kind in the nation, after Hashikurasan Ropeway. It makes a part of the sightseeing route between Odawara and Lake Ashi. The company belongs to the Odakyū Group.

Ōwakudani (大涌谷, lit. "Great Boiling Valley") is a volcanic valley with active sulphur vents and hot springs in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It was created around 3,000 years ago, as a result of the explosion of the Hakone volcano. It is a popular tourist site for its scenic views, volcanic activity, and kuro-tamago (黒卵, lit. "black egg") — a local variety of hard-boiled eggs that uses the hot springs in their preparation. As a result of them being boiled in the mineral-rich waters of the valley, which contain high levels of sulfur, the egg shells turn black and give off a slightly sulfuric odour; eating one is said to add seven years to your life. Upon seeing the hellish scenery, when Kōbō Daishi visited Owakudani more than a thousand years ago, he offered prayer to Bodhisattva. The Enmei-jizō in Owakudani is said to have its origin in the prayer.

Sengokuhara (仙石原), sometimes called Sengokubara, is a district in Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan.

Sōunzan Station (早雲山駅, Sōunzan-eki) is a terminal funicular railway station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line in the town of Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is 1.2 kilometers (0.75 mi) by rail from the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line's opposing terminus at Gōra Station. It is also the lower terminus for the Hakone Ropeway, from Tōgendai Station, and is located at an altitude of 767 meters (2,516 ft).

Ubako Station (姥子駅, Ubako-eki) is a station on the Hakone Ropeway in the town of Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan. It is 2.7 kilometers (1.7 mi) from the Hakone Ropeway's terminus at Sōunzan Station, 1.3 kilometers (0.81 mi) from the Hakone Ropeway's opposing terminus at Tōgendai Station. It is located at an altitude of 878 meters (2,881 ft) in the Tōgendai area of Hakone.

Kami-Gōra Station (上強羅駅, Kami-Gōra-eki) is a funicular railway station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line in the town of Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is 0.96 rail kilometers from the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line's terminus at Gōra Station.

Naka-Gōra Station (中強羅駅, Naka-Gōra-eki) is a funicular railway station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line in the town of Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is 0.72 rail kilometers from the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line's terminus at Gōra Station.

Mount Kanmuri (Japanese: 冠ヶ岳 = Kanmuri-ga-Take, meaning the "mountain with a Kanmuri hat") is one of the peaks of Mount Hakone, in Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan, with an elevation of 1,409m meters. When the phreatic eruptions occurred on the northwestern slope of Mount Kami about 2,900 years ago, the underground magma created a lava dome, which is the current Mount Kanmuri. These eruptions caused the damming of the Haya River, creating the Sengokuhara and Lake Ashi. This mountain looks like the "Kanmuri" headwear, which used to be worn by the noble men in ancient Japan.

The Hakone Tozan Cable Car (箱根登山ケーブルカー, Hakone Tozan Kēburukā), officially the Cable Line (鋼索線, Kōsaku-sen), is a funicular railway in the town of Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan. It is operated by Odakyu Hakone, a Odakyu Group company who also operates the Hakone Tozan Train. The funicular links Gōra, the upper terminus of the railway line, with Sōunzan 214 metres (702 ft) above. At Sōunzan, connection is made with the Hakone Ropeway, which runs to Tōgendai on Lake Ashi. Opened in 1922, the line was rebuilt in 1995, when new cars replaced the old. In March 2020, the cars were replaced again with two new two-car red and blue trainsets supplied by Keio Juuki Seibi Co. Each trainset is able to accommodate up to 250 passengers.

Kōen-Kami Station (公園上駅, Kōen-Kami-eki) is a funicular railway station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car Line in the town of Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, operated by Hakone Tozan Railway.
