Lindenwood University

J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts was opened in 2008 in St. Charles, Missouri, United States, on the campus of the Lindenwood University as a $32 million, 138,000-square-foot (12,800 m2) educational and performing arts complex. The facility is named after a $2 million donation from Jerry Scheidegger, Lindenwood board member, St. Louis businessman, as well as the founder and chairman of The Corporate Group Inc., a commercial and residential real estate leasing firm.

Robert F. Hyland Performance Arena or Hyland Performance Arena is a multi-purpose arena in on the campus of Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri. The arena opened in 1997 and is home to the Lindenwood Lions men's and women's basketball, women's gymnastics, men's and women's volleyball, and wrestling teams, as well as many of the school's club sports. The facility also includes the athletic department offices. Hyland Arena seats 3,270 spectators with 270 of those seats in luxury boxes. It was named after Robert Hyland who was the chairman of the Lindenwood board for many years and was also the CBS Regional Vice President and General Manager of radio station KMOX in St. Louis for four decades.Lindenwood has explored the possibility of acquiring the nearby 10,000-seat Family Arena in a proposed deal that would give Saint Charles County the museum and property of the Daniel Boone Home owned by the university in exchange for the arena. Although the President of the university stated that the option hasn't been ruled out in the future. Lindenwood currently uses the Family Arena for convocation events.

KCLC (89.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Album Adult Alternative format. Licensed to St. Charles, Missouri, United States, the station serves the St. Louis area. The station is owned by Lindenwood University. KCLC underwent major facility upgrades in late August 2010, including a new antenna and transmitter, new studio hardware and software, and the capability for HD broadcasting. In 2022, KCLC dropped its longtime moniker "The Wood."

Lindenwood Hall, also known as Sibley Hall, is a historic building located on the campus of Lindenwood University at St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri. The original section was built in 1857, with wings added in 1881 and 1887. The original section is a three-story plus full basement, rectangular, red brick building measuring 73 feet wide by 48 feet deep. It has Classical Revival and Italianate style detailing including a two-story front portico, paired arched windows, and a low hipped roof. The three-story brick wings resulted in a U-shaped plan and feature three-story, three sided bay windows.: 2–3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Lindenwood Neighborhood Historic District is a national historic district located at St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. The district encompasses 108 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in an exclusively residential section of St. Charles. It developed between about 1902 and 1956, and includes representative examples of Queen Anne, Folk Victorian, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Mediterranean Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Samuel Stewart Watson House, also known as Ermeling House, is a historic home located at St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri. It was built in 1859, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick dwelling with a hipped roof. It features a broad denticulated cornice with heavy brackets, segmentally arched windows, and a classically inspired portico.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Oliver L. and Catherine Link House is a historic home located at St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri. It was built in 1895, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Richardsonian Romanesque style yellow brick dwelling on a raised basement. It has a hipped roof with cross gables and features a round tower with a conical roof and large round arched opening over the entryway.: 7 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. It is located in the Midtown Neighborhood Historic District.

Duchesne High School is a small, private, coeducational, Catholic high school in St. Charles, Missouri, USA, in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Louis. The name commemorates St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, whose pioneering spirit was the driving force behind her missionary work throughout the region. Duchesne is classified as a regional high school by the Archdiocese of St. Louis, which means that certain parishes are "assigned" to this school as the primary areas served. Duchesne High School was established as St. Peter High School in 1924. The school moved to its current location in 1956 and was renamed Duchesne Catholic High School.

Saint Charles (commonly abbreviated St. Charles) is a city in, and the county seat of, St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. The population was 70,493 at the 2020 census, making St. Charles the 9th most populous city in Missouri. Situated on the Missouri River, St. Charles is a northwestern suburb of St. Louis. The city was founded circa 1769 as Les Petites Côtes, or "The Little Hills" in French, by Louis Blanchette, a French-Canadian fur trader. This former French area west of the Mississippi River was nominally ruled by Spain following France's defeat in the Seven Years' War. France had ceded its eastern territories to Great Britain. St. Charles is the third-oldest city in Missouri. For a time, it played a significant role as a river port in the United States' westward expansion, including trade with Native American tribes on the upper Missouri River. It was the starting point of the Boone's Lick Road to the Boonslick. St. Charles was settled primarily by French-speaking colonists from Canada in its early days. In 1804 the Lewis and Clark Expedition considered this settlement the last "civilized" stop before they headed upriver to explore the western territory that the United States acquired from France in the Louisiana Purchase.The city served as the first Missouri capital from 1821 to 1826. It is the site of the Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne shrine.

Marten-Becker House, also known as Becker House, is a historic home located at St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri. It was built about 1865, and is a two-story, "L"-plan, Italianate style brick dwelling. It features a richly bracketed cornice, cupola with arched windows of colored glass and ornate cast iron portico. Also on the property are two contributing brick outbuildings.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

African Church, also known as the A.M.E. Church of St. Charles, is a historic African Methodist Episcopal church located at 554 Madison Street in St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. It was built about 1855, and is a small brick building with a low-pitched gable roof. The building was renovated in 1947 as a residence.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is located in the Midtown Neighborhood Historic District.
