Fujisan Station

Gekkōji Station (月江寺駅, Gekkōji-eki) is a railway station on the Fujikyuko Line in the city of Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan, operated by Fuji Kyuko (Fujikyu).

Fujiyoshida (富士吉田市, Fujiyoshida-shi) is a city located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 May 2019, the city had an estimated population of 48,782 in 19,806 households and a population density of 400 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 121.74 square kilometres (47.00 sq mi).

Do-Dodonpa (ド･ドドンパ), formerly known as Dodonpa (ドドンパ), was a steel roller coaster located at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. Manufactured by S&S – Sansei Technologies, the launched coaster used compressed air to propel its trains. It opened on 21 December 2001 as the fastest roller coaster in the world with the fastest acceleration, reaching a top speed of 172 km/h (106.9 mph) in 1.8 seconds. The ride was refurbished in 2017, removing its top hat element in favor of a vertical loop, as well as increasing its speed and acceleration to 180 km/h (111.8 mph) in 1.56 seconds. In 2021, the ride was closed down indefinitely after multiple complaints of riders sustaining broken bones were raised. The ride's permanent closure was officially announced on 13 March 2024.

Fujikyu-Highland Station (富士急ハイランド駅, Fujikyū-Hairando-eki) is a railway station on the Fujikyuko Line in the town of Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, Japan, operated by Fuji Kyuko (Fujikyu). It is located at an altitude of 829 metres (2,720 ft).

Eejanaika (ええじゃないか) is a steel fourth-dimension hypercoaster at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. The ride opened on 19 July 2006 as the world's second fourth dimension coaster. Eejanaika is taller, faster, and longer than its predecessor, X2, at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The roller coaster, designed by S&S Arrow, is a fourth dimension coaster, a design in which the seats can rotate forward or backward 360 degrees in a controlled spin. This is achieved by having four rails on the track: two of these are running rails while the other two are for spin control. The two rails that control the spin of the seats move up and down relative to the track and spin the seats using a rack and pinion gear mechanism. Eejanaika's official Japanese spelling is stylized, with the second "え" kana being turned upside down. Eejanaika has several meanings, but is most commonly translated to "Ain't it great!" in English. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Eejanaika ties with The Smiler at Alton Towers for the world record of most inversions in a coaster, as both coasters contain 14 inversions. However, this is disputed, because 11 of Eejanaika's inversions are inversions of the seat, rather than inversions of the track, and all of The Smiler's inversions are track inversions. Eejanaika's tracks were initially painted red with black supports, but following the addition of Mount Fuji to the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural site in June 2013, Fuji-Q progressively repainted its tracks to the current dark brown with grey supports between 2013 and 2014. Its trains were also updated.

Thomas Land (トーマスランド) is a themed children's amusement section based on Thomas & Friends in Fuji-Q Highland, an amusement park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. The section opened in 1998. Attractions include Thomas' Treasure Hunt (a story-driven narrated indoor rail ride), Thomas & Percy's Fun Ride (an outdoor rail ride), Go! Go! Bulstrode! (a water raft rail ride), Mischievous Cranky (a rotating aerial ride), Nia and Animal Coaster (a roller coaster for small children), 3D Maze - Thomas Circus (a Thomas-themed hedge maze), and monuments to Thomas and Percy for photo opportunities. Thomas Land is different from the smaller Thomas Town attractions in Japan, one in Shinmisato, and the other in Kurashiki.

Takabisha (高飛車) is a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter steel roller coaster located at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. It opened on 16 July 2011, and is known for having a drop angle of 121°. It was the steepest coaster in the world before it was overtaken in 2019 by TMNT Shellraiser at American Dream in New Jersey. The Japanese name Takabisha translates to "high-handed" or "domineering" in English. The name is a pun, in that the three kanji in the name literally mean "high fly car".

Shimoyoshida Station (下吉田駅, Shimoyoshida-eki) is a railway station on the Fujikyuko Line in the city of Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan, operated by private railway operator Fuji Kyuko (Fujikyu).

Fuji-Q Highland (富士急ハイランド, Fujikyū Hairando; formerly the Fujikyu Highland) is an amusement park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan, owned and operated by the namesake Fuji Kyuko Co. It opened on 2 March 1968. The park is near the base of Mount Fuji. It has a number of roller coasters, as well as two haunted attractions: the Haunted Hospital, the world's largest haunted attraction, and the Hopeless Fortress. Other attractions include Thomas Land, a children's area with a Thomas the Tank Engine theme, and attractions themed to Mobile Suit Gundam, Hamtaro and Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was also the location of the former Do-Dodonpa (ド･ドドンパ) roller coaster, which once held the record for fastest acceleration of any roller coaster in the world.

Giant Coaster (ジャイアントコースター) was a steel roller coaster located at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. Giant Coaster was the longest roller coaster in the world when it opened, as featured in the Guinness Book of World Records, as well as a commemorative display placed in Fuji-Q Highland during the 2019 season.

Moonsault Scramble (ムーンサルト・スクランブル) was a shuttle roller coaster located at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. Manufactured by Sanoyas Hishino Meisho, the ride opened to the public on 24 June 1983. According to the Guinness Book of Records, Moonsault Scramble was the tallest shuttle roller coaster in the world at 70 metres (230 ft) when it opened. It held the record until the opening of Fujiyama, a coaster that opened at the same park in 1996, which reached 79 metres (259 ft) in height. The coaster was removed from the park in 2000 to make way for the construction of Dodonpa, which opened in 2001.

Arakurayama Sengen Park (新倉山浅間公園, Arakurayama-Sengen-Kōen) is a block park located at 3353 Arakura, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Installed in October 1959. Located on the hillside of Mount Arakura (Japanese: 新倉山), it covers an area of about 4.3 hectares. It is popular as a famous scenic spot where you can see Mount Fuji, a red five-story pagoda, and cherry blossom trees at a glance. Sangoku Daiichisan Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine (Japanese: 三國第一山新倉富士浅間神社) is enshrined, and Mount Arakura is a sacred area. There are about 650 cherry blossoms (Prunus × yedoensis) and a memorial tower for the war dead in the park.
