Viladecans (Catalan pronunciation: [ˌbiləðəˈkanz]) is a town near Barcelona, Spain. It is located between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Sant Climent de Llobregat, and is on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea between El Prat de Llobregat and Gavà. Viladecans is basically a service town. It has a hospital, which serves the surrounding towns. Viladecans has 13 or 14 schools and 30 to 40 sport teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, gymnastics and other sports.

Gavà (Catalan pronunciation: [ɡəˈβa]) is a municipality in the Baix Llobregat comarca, in the province of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. It borders the coast of the Mediterranean Sea between Viladecans and Castelldefels. Gavà has a beach and two population centers: the city proper and Gavà Mar (Gavà Sea), a coastal neighborhood. Gavà's mayor belongs to the Socialists' Party of Catalonia.

The Gavà Museum and the Gavà Mines Archaeological Park, founded in 1978, comprises two facilities: the Gavà Museum and the Gavà Mines Archaeological Park. It is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network.

Mercabarna is a Barcelona Metro station, located in the Mercabarna market complex of the Zona Franca in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona. The station is served by line L9.The station is located underneath the western approach to the Mercabarna market, with its only entrance provided by a staircase and elevator at the intersection of Carrer K and the Carrer Transversal 6, with a ticket office below ground. The two 108-metre (354 ft) long side platforms are at a lower level.The station was opened in 2016, at the time of the extension of line L9 from Zona Universitaria station to Aeroport T1 station.

The Gavà Mines, also known as Can Tintorer Mines, is a pre-historic (Neolithic) archaeological site that occupies the Can Tintorer, Ferreres and Rocabruna areas in the municipality of Gavà (Baix Llobregat, Catalonia, Spain). The site is under care of the Gavà Museum and the Gavà Mines Archaeological Park. The main feature of the site is a collection of ancient mines that are among the largest and oldest in Europe. The site is spread over 200 hectares and comprises more than a hundred known mines, with many more possibly to be still unidentified. Among them are the only known Neolithic mines of variscite, a green mineral used to make body ornaments.From the Iberian and Roman times through the Middle Ages, the mines were re-exploited to obtain iron ore. Notable finds from the site are the Venus of Gavà and the Trepanation Skull.

Sant Boi de Llobregat (IPA: [ˌsam‿ˈbɔj ðɐ ʎuβɾɐˈɣat]) is a city in the Province of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain, located on the banks of the Llobregat river. In 2019 it had 83,605 inhabitants.The city is divided into six neighborhoods (named barris in Catalan): Ciutat Cooperativa-Molí Nou, Marianao-Can Paulet, Barri Centre, Vinyets-Molí Vell, Camps Blancs-Canons-Orioles, and Casablanca.It is bordered on the north by the towns of Santa Coloma de Cervelló and Sant Joan Despí and the village of Sant Climent de Llobregat; on the east by the town of Cornellà de Llobregat; on the west by Viladecans; and on the south by El Prat de Llobregat and the Mediterranean Sea (via a narrow southward salient).

Sant Climent de Llobregat is a municipality in the comarca of Baix Llobregat, Barcelona Province, Catalonia, Spain. It is connected by road with Viladecans and Sant Boi de Llobregat.

Sant Boi is a railway station on the Llobregat–Anoia Line. It is located in the municipality of Sant Boi de Llobregat, to the south-west of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It was opened in 1912 together with the rest of the line's section between Barcelona and Martorell. It is served by Barcelona Metro line 8, Baix Llobregat Metro lines S33, S4 and S8, and commuter rail lines R5, R6, R50 and R60.

The Sant Boi de Llobregat Museum (Catalan: Museu de Sant Boi) conserves and carries out research into the cultural heritage and historic memory of the town of Sant Boi de Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. The main museum collections are those of Iberian, Roman and Medieval archaeological remains unearthed during the different excavations carried out in the town and different ethnographic sources. The museum houses the permanent exhibitions Sant Boi. Temps i espai (Sant Boi. Time and space) and Rafael Casanova i el seu temps (Rafael Casanova and the times he lived in), as well as different temporary exhibitions. Founded in 1998, the museum is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network and is housed in several buildings: Can Barraquer, Can Torrents, the Roman thermal baths and Benviure tower.

Molí Nou-Ciutat Cooperativa is a railway station on the Llobregat–Anoia Line. It is located in the neighborhood of Molí Nou of the Sant Boi de Llobregat municipality, to the south-west of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It was opened on 13 February 2000 (2000-02-13). It is served by Barcelona Metro line 8, Baix Llobregat Metro lines S33, S4 and S8, and commuter rail lines R5 and R6.

The Sant Boi Bridge is the first steel structure in the high-speed railway joining the city of Madrid and Barcelona. The 2,854-foot-long (870 m) bridge is very close to the international airport of Barcelona. This high-speed railway viaduct is in concept similar to Llinars Bridge but with a different geometry, is a combination of feasibility, technology, aesthetics and integration in the territory. The bridge crosses several existing infrastructures (highway, road and railway). The bridge is about 15 km from Barcelona.

The Church of Colònia Güell (Catalan: Cripta de la Colònia Güell, IPA: [ˈkɾiptə ðə ɫə kuˈɫɔniə ˈɣweʎ]) is an unfinished work by Antoni Gaudí. It was built as a place of worship for the people on a hillside in a manufacturing suburb in Santa Coloma de Cervelló, near Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). Colònia Güell was the brainchild of Count Eusebi de Güell; who enlisted the help of architect Antoni Gaudí in 1898. However, work was not started until 1908, 10 years after commission. The plan for the building consisted of constructing two naves, an upper and a lower, two towers, and one forty-meter-high central dome. In 1914, the Güell family halted construction due to the death of Count Güell. At the time, the lower nave was almost complete so between the years of 1915 and 1917, it was completed and readied for use. The Church is one of the seven properties Gaudí built near Barcelona that are Unesco World Heritage Sites. Collectively, these sites are known as the Works of Antoni Gaudí, and show his, "exceptional creative contribution to the development of architecture and building technology in the late 19th and early 20th centuries."
