Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home is an old folk's home located along Thomson Lane in Toa Payoh, Singapore. A second branch of the Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home has been opened along Silat Avenue in Bukit Merah.

The Old Police Academy (abbreviation: OPA; formerly known as the Police Academy (alternate: TRACOM), Police Training School and Police Depot) is a defunct police training school-facility located at 1, Mount Pleasant Road, off Thomson Road in Singapore. It was the primary training institute for the Singapore Police Force's Training Command until December 2005, when most of the school's functions moved to the new Home Team Academy in Choa Chu Kang. Today, it is being gradually demolished to make way for the upcoming Mount Pleasant MRT station as well as for future housing redevelopment and land repurposing.

CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) is a government-aided autonomous Catholic girls' secondary school in Toa Payoh, Singapore. Founded in 1854, the school is the oldest of the 11 Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) schools in Singapore. The school is currently recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Language and the Arts.

Mount Pleasant MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Novena, Singapore. Located within the former grounds of Old Police Academy, the station will serve the future housing developments in the area. First announced in August 2012 as part of the Thomson line (TSL), the station was constructed as part of TEL Phase 3 (TEL3) with the merger of the TSL and the Eastern Region line (ERL). Initially slated to open along with the TEL3 stations, it was announced in November 2021 that the station would only open with the completion of the housing developments in the area.

The Burmese Buddhist Temple (also known as Maha Sasana Ramsi; Burmese: သာသနာ့ရံသီ မြန်မာဘုရားကျောင်း; Chinese: 缅甸玉佛寺; pinyin: Miǎndiàn yùfósì) is the oldest Theravada institution and the only Burmese Buddhist temple of its kind in Singapore. Founded in 1875, the temple moved from its original Kinta Road premises to Tai Gin Road off Ah Hood Road in Novena in 1988. The temple houses the largest pure white marble statue of the Buddha outside Myanmar, and has become a religious landmark for Burmese and Singaporean devotees to make merit and take part in merit-sharing activities alike.

The Internal Security Department (ISD) is a domestic intelligence agency of Singapore under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, also known as Wan Qing Yuan, and formerly as the Sun Yat Sen Villa, is a two-story colonial style villa in Balestier, Singapore. The villa is now a museum commemorating Sun Yat Sen (1866–1925), the founding father of the Republic of China who visited Singapore nine times between 1900 and 1911. Located at 12 Tai Gin Road off Ah Hood Road in Balestier, the villa occupies an area of approximately 3,120 square metres (33,600 sq ft) and played a crucial role in the 1911 Xinhai Revolution by serving as the Tongmenghui's base in Nanyang (Southeast Asia) in the early 20th century.

The Police Intelligence Department (PID) is a staff department of the Singapore Police Force (SPF). Its primary purpose is to collate and analyse information obtained from the various departments of the SPF, as well as other sources, to support law enforcement activities in Singapore. The department is also the staff authority on matters relating to intelligence in the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
