Shenton Way

Shenton Way MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Downtown Core, Singapore. It will be located around Asia Square, V on Shenton and Shenton House. The station is named after the nearby Shenton Way, a major one-way street in the financial district of Singapore. It will be directly connected to Downtown station on the Downtown line via Marina One when the station opens later in 2022.

Asia Square is a retail and office building located along Marina View at Marina Bay in Singapore. It is located in Marina Bay, Singapore's new business and financial precinct. It comprises 2,000,000 square feet (190,000 m2) of office space, over 30 entertainment and dining premises, as well as the largest gym in the Central Business District. Asia Square is also Singapore's first commercial development integrated with a business hotel, The Westin Singapore, located at Tower 2. A 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2) landscaped plaza, The Cube, links the two towers at Asia Square.

Straits View is a planning area located in the Central Area of the Central Region of Singapore. The area is currently relatively undeveloped, with fewer commercial developments compared to the adjacent Downtown Core. Straits View planning area is bounded by Marina South to the north, the Downtown Core to the northwest and west, and the Singapore Strait to the south.

The UIC Building (United Industrial Corporation Limited Building) was a former 40-storey, 152 m (499 ft) skyscraper in the city-state of Singapore.

SGX Centre is a twin tower high-rise complex in the city of Singapore. The development consists of two 187 m (614 ft) skyscrapers, located in Shenton Way. The two towers are named SGX Centre One and SGX Centre Two, and are situated together on an elongated, rectangular site. The towers house the Singapore Exchange Centre. A unique feature of the development is that it borders the existing business district, and serves as a gateway to the new downtown at Marina South.

One Shenton Way is a high end real estate redevelopment project with 341 apartments along Shenton Way in the Tanjong Pagar area of Singapore. It consists of two towers, the tallest of which is 50 stories. It was completed in 2011 and is notable for its two tower construction. Two sides of each tower is clad in gold and two sides in blue glass panels. The first floor is retail space and includes a convenience store, a wine bar, cafes and award winning restaurants. The car park has 383 lots and is available to both residents and non residents at competitive rates. New facilities were added over the years catered to families and long term residents. One Shenton is the only high rise building in Singapore that is fitted with biometric entrance access at all entry points, increasing safety and eliminating the need for residents to carry access cards.

Robinson 77, formerly SIA Building, is a high-rise skyscraper located in the central business district of Singapore. The building is located on 77 Robinson Road, just next to DBS Building Tower One and Two. The SIA Building was the flagship building for Singapore Airlines. The airline head office is not located in this building; it is and has been located at Airline House in Changi.The building has a net floor area of around 27,400 m2 (295,000 sq ft). It has a total of 180 car park lots.

The Singapore Conference Hall is a multipurpose building located in the heart of the financial district of Shenton Way in Downtown Core of Singapore. The first building to be constructed along Shenton Way, it was a place for conferences and exhibitions in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, it is refurbished and modernised into a concert hall, home to the Singapore Chinese Orchestra since 2001. Completed in 1965 at a cost of S$4 million at that time, it was an example of the nation's urban architecture then. The building is situated on a three-acre site at the junction of Shenton Way and Maxwell Road. It was gazetted as a national monument on 28 December 2010.

OUE Downtown or 6 Shenton Way, formerly DBS Building Towers is a high-rise skyscraper complex at 6 Shenton Way in the central business district of Singapore. Tower 1, at 201 metres (659 ft) and 50 storeys, was completed in 1975 and is one of Singapore's oldest skyscrapers. Tower 2, at 150 m (490 ft) and 36 storeys, was completed twenty years later in 1994. The former headquarters of DBS Bank was located in the complex. Overseas Union Enterprise (OUE) acquired the complex in 2010 and renamed it 'OUE Downtown'.

The former CPF Building was a high-rise skyscraper located in the central business district of Singapore. The tower was located on 79 Robinson Road, in the Shenton Way and Tanjong Pagar zone. The building was near several other skyscrapers such as OUE Downtown, Robinson 77 and Capital Tower, which are all about 100 metres away from the building's former site.It housed the headquarters of the Central Provident Fund Board (CPF).

Lau Pa Sat (Chinese: 老巴刹; pinyin: Lǎo Bāshā; lit. 'Old Market'), also known as Telok Ayer Market (Malay: Pasar Telok Ayer; Chinese: 直落亚逸巴刹), is a historic building located within the Downtown Core in the Central Area of Singapore. It was first built in 1824 as a fish market on the waterfront serving the people of early colonial Singapore and rebuilt in 1838. It was then relocated and rebuilt at the present location in 1894. It is currently a food court with stalls selling a variety of local cuisine. The market remains one of the oldest Victorian structures in South-East Asia and one of the first structures built in pre-fabricated cast iron in Asia. It is also the only remaining market left that served the residents in the central district of early Singapore.

Marina Bay Suites is a condominium located in Marina Bay, Singapore. It is one of six towers of the Marina Bay Financial Centre. It was developed by Keppel Land, Cheung Kong Holdings and Hongkong Land. It stands at 227 metres (745 ft), with 66 floors, making it Singapore's 14th tallest tower. It consists of 108 three-bedroom units (1,572 square feet (146.0 m2) to 1,604 square feet (149.0 m2)), 110 four-bedroom units (2,045 square feet (190.0 m2) to 2,695 square feet (250.4 m2)), and three penthouses (4,682 square feet (435.0 m2) to 8,181 square feet (760.0 m2)). It is expected to be completed on 31 July 2017.In the early pre-dawn hours of 14 January 2014, a fire broke out on the 65th floor's service lift lobby. Two security officers' charred bodies were found in the midst of renovation material. Other residents had evacuated the building and were unharmed.
